The Latest Fairy Tail Sequel Volume Reveals Igneel’s HUMAN Form!
The latest Fairy Tail volume reveals the human form of Natsu’s adopted father, the Fire Dragon King Igneel.
On August 7, 2026, Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest releases Volume 24, featuring the official colors for Igneel’s human form.
This is in reference to Chapter 210: “The Flame’s Meaning”, where Igneel’s spirit temporarily takes over Natsu’s body as a result of the embers of his Fire Dragon King power awakening due to the residue that Bestia, Ignia’s second in command, collected during the Alvarez Empire Arc, as revealed in Chapter 198: “Bestia’s Recollections”
The previous volume cover features Natsu’s new Fire Dragon Mode to face the fusion of Earthland Faris and Ignia.
This confirms all other old generation Dragons, not just Acnologia and the Five Dragon Gods, have human forms via Transformation Magic.
This volume covers Chapter 207: “Confronting the Calamity” to Chapter 215: “Water and Moon”.
Fairy Tail is currently celebrating its its 20th manga anniversary, with the 9-chapter Fairy Tail- Re:Fantasia manga starting on July 29th.
First released on July 25, 2018 for the biweekly Shonen Comics Pocket, this sequel covers the 100 Year Quest to seal the Five Dragon Gods.
