Wait, is the New Villain From Edens Zero? Fairy Tail – Re:Fantasia Chapter 3 Spoilers!

In the previous Fairy Tail- Re:Fantasia chapter, while the pageant is happening, Mirajane and Laxus have a moment in Kardia Cathedral and the new villain attacks.

Fairy Tail- Re:Fantasia Chapter 3 is titled, “Kal Eraser”

This chapter has 20 pages.

The cover shows a familiar scene, of Lucy’s first mission with Team Natsu as Erza carries all their heavy luggage on her back while Natsu and Gray argue behind them in the train station.

We finally got the name of this spinoff’s main villain and it might have some relation to Edens Zero

In this other Mashima series, Eraser is the name of a member of the Oracion Seis Interstellar the Edens Zero counterpart of Fairy Tail’s Magic Council and one of two Oracion Seis groups in the galaxy alongside the criminals Oracions Seis Galactica.

Furthermore, not only does he look exactly like Eraser but even has the Oracions Seis Interstellar logo on his collar.

The key difference here is his ability, as his Dust minions so far are just turning people into other Dust creatures but it could be an expression of his complete erasure ability, which we saw in the first chapter and our first hint at his ties to the real Eraser from Edens:Zero.

This could mean one of two things.

Either he is the same person as the Edens Zero character and somehow ended up here.

Or he is the ancestor of Eraser, who possesses Magic instead of Ether Gear, and that there is an Oracion Seis Interstellar here.

However, the three minions with Eraser do not have the same symbol.

Instead, it is a U with a dot inside and a bar above.

Anyway, the chapter begins with the Dust entities created by Eraser attacking the people in Magnolia Park.

Since he called Jellal by his old name “Siegrain” (which fun fact is his original first name as well as an alias), Eraser reveals that he used to be part of the Magic Council before Jellal caused trouble, supporting the possibility that he might have been the founder of a proto-Oracion Seis Interstellar.

Eraser introduces himself as someone who erases all that is unnecessary, including Magnolia and Fairy Tail.

The Dust creatures are monsters created from the people Eraser has erased and treated as “unnecessary”.

When Jellal uses his Heavenly Body Magic, the Dust regenerate.

Laxus and Mirajane arrive, with Eraser identifying Laxus himself with interest.

However, he chooses to stop.

Mirajane says the town is in the middle of a festival but by this point, Eraser vanishes.

As Jellal is surrounded by Dust, Erza arrives in her Cat outfit, which was first seen in the 100 Years Quest battle between Erza and a Whiteout Jellal on Aldoron.

From behind, Gray and Natsu kick Jellal on the head, mocking him for being a damsel in distress.

Lucy notices that the Dust creatures have kanji on their heads.

Ishtar does not have kanji but she recalls encoutering Gomon, one of the Avatar cultists, who has a kanji on his head.

Levy reads the kanji of the rest.

Some are immune to magic in general, others to specific elements, including cats.

Impatiently, Natsu burns through most of the Dust but there are the Fire-immune ones, which Juvia and Gray take care of.

Erza handles the Magic-immune Dust, alongside Cana (Holder-Type Magic) and Elfman (Beast Soul brute strength).

The Thunder Tribe find Laxus and they prioritize protecting the town.

Makarov orders Max and Warren to evacuate the people from the town.

We then see Eraser’s three minions alongside him, standing atop a building.

Lucy and Natsu find them but they also vanish.

Natsu tries interrogating one of them and to everyone’s surprise, it can talk.

Then we see the monster revert to human, confirming that the Dust were all victims of Eraser’s spell.

Which makes Erza nervous as she might have killed someone.

At least Fairy Tail is acknowledging, albeit jokingly, that their members could kill, although without meaning it.

Fairy Tail- Re:Fantasia Chapter 4 will be released on August 26, 2026.
