The long wait is over! Hunter x Hunter officially returns on June 28th
On June 18, 2026, a leaked preview for Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 30 shows that Hunter x Hunter will be returning on June 29, 2026

This is linked to the release of Volume 39 on July 3, 2026.
Titled “Negotiation”, this volume will cover the 2024 batch, from Chapter 401: “Moonlight” to Chapter 410: “Negotiation, Part 4”., the mini-arc where the chapter title comes from.
No cover has been previewed as of yet.
It is unknown if the second batch after the upcoming Chapter 420 will be released.
As of June 14th, Togashi has finished inking on Chapter 431 while Chapter 421 has already been delivered to Weekly Shonen Jump and he has finished up Chapter 427, which would indicate that the second batch might be released sooner than expected.
This is somewhat timed to Kagurabachi’s hiatus that begins on June 28 and will continue until August, by which time Hunter x Hunter would be nearing its last set of chapters from its 10-chapter batch.
