Hunter x Hunter Speeds Towards Manga Return
Hunter x Hunter might be returning by the end of 2026 with the progress of Togashi’s submissions.
On September 15, 2026, it was announced that Yoshihiro Togashi has submitted Chapter 428 to Weekly Shonen Jump.
This means only two chapters of the upcoming batch remain.
Previously on September 1, Togashi submitted Chapter 427, confirming the pattern of sending chapters every tw o weeks.
As of present, on August 30th, Togashi completed the background specifications for Chapter 430, bringing the final batch’s chapter closer to completion.
If the schedule follows the two-week pattern, Chapter 429 will be sent on September 29th while Chapter 430 will be sent on October 13th.
Of note here is that Shonen Jump editors go to mangaka’s studios to pick up these yellow manuscript envelopes.
With the speed of Togashi’s submissions, we could get a release date announcement before 2026 ends.
