HISOKA VS TSERRIEDNICH IS COMING!!! Hunter x Hunter Chapter 419 Spoilers!

As Tserriednich tests his Parallel Future, he enters the den of the real Beast of the Apocalypse, the Grim Reaper Hisoka Morow.

HUNTER X HUNTER © 1998 by Yoshihiro Togashi/SHUEISHA Inc.

In the previous Hunter x Hunter chapter, Tserriednich begins his escape plan.

Hunter x Hunter Chapter 419 is titled, “Practice”.

This chapter has 19 pages.

Editor’s note: “The 4th Prince Tserriednich makes his move!!”

The chapter begins with Tserriednich opening the door to 1004, scoping the area and wondering if his “big dumbass” brother already killed the guards in Camilla’s room.

It seems that the static noise he alone hears indicates that he is getting far away from the center of his ability and when the ability expires, he will probably get the same zapping noise as when “Ephemeral Ten Seconds” ends

Tserriednich also confirms that the full range of his Nen ability is 36 meters (which fits his lucky numbers 4, 6 and 9), which covers Rooms 2, 4 and 6.

Across the corridor, as far as the door connecting to the Tier 2 common passage

As he sees the Royal Army at the entrance, Tserriednich realizes he will be shot from behind before he can reach the door, so he excitedly plans his escape.

First he will activate the “Ephemeral Ten Seconds” again, then play it as it comes.

If his ability does reach the common passage, he will activate “Ephemeral Ten Seconds” and wing it from there.

Bro is excited for such risky practice.

The soldiers see Tserriednich but they are careful in dealing with him as they are surprised that the Royal Army is not moving against him.

That is because those soldiers are still under the effects of the first illusion Tserriednich cast.

The soldiers think he is part of some covert operation and it is better they do not intervene or they could get in trouble.

This confirms the radius of 36 meters and those outside it, i.e. the soldiers reacting to a disguised Tserriednich, are not under the illusion, so if Tserriednich turns off Zetsu or leaves the zone, the spell breaks, thus returning reality to normal.

So conversely, as long as he does not drop Zetsu, he can keep spamming the “Ephemeral Ten Seconds” over and over within the 36 meter boundary.

But Tserriednich is also mindful that his Nen Beast will run out of battery soon, so if he estimates the charge-to-drain ratio conservatively at 23:1, then he must reach his destination in 30 minutes and 45 minutes outside

With Tserriednich leaving the run, the illusion is cut off, meaning the soldiers suddenly see the door closing even though it was opened previously.

Then Tserriednich kills the two soldiers guarding the door, alerting everyone else.

While shooting, Tserriednich activates Laplace Devil: “Epheremal Ten Seconds”.

The first half of Parallel Future has a name, just like King Crimson’s Epitaph, the sub-Stand on his forehead that predicts the future.

That name is based on the Laplace’s Demon thought experiment by French mathematician Pierre-Simon Laplace and it is a perfect time for this ability.

Because Tserriednich’s Parallel Future is all about Laplace’s Demon, which is an expression of the concept of causal determinism in physics.

Where if someone (the demon) knows the precise location and momentum of every particle in the universe, their past and future values for any given time are entailed.

In the text, Laplace literally says that when this intellect or demon has all the information, then “the future just like the past could be present before its eyes.”

The soldiers end up covering Tserriednich with bullets in this illusion.

So while Tserriednich lets the soldiers fight his illusion, he sneaks out to reach the exit and that’s when the 10 second timer is up, allowing him to be visible and interfere with the outside world.

Using his own military experience, Tserriednich pretends to be a spy for the Royal Army trying to root out rebels to distract the newcomers.

Tserriednich walks outside of his current range, causing his fake body to vanish.

When the soldiers are alerted to the cause, that’s when Tserriednich jumps on them.

When the other soldiers outside hear the gunshots, they find themselves in a hallway littered with dead bodies.

They were all confused by the disappearing body and think it is some sort of gas weapon, so they prioritize getting masks and protecting the King from a terrorist threat.

Which gives Tserriednich ample time to leave.

Except the Royal Army just cut off the bridge leading to Tier 2 of the Black Whale, so now Tserriednich is stuck like a rat.

Which leaves him with one option: the Casino, where that’s right HISOKA was!

This was actually hinted at last year (October 6, 2025)  with Togashi’s update for Chapter 420, the next chapter, where we see Hisoka’s sleeve from his casino dealer outfit.

Editor’s note: “Entering the casino area…”

The final chapter of the 2026 batch, Hunter x Hunter Chapter 420 will be released on September 7, 2026.
