IMU IS THE DEVIL OF ONE PIECE! One Piece Chapter 1150 Early Spoilers!
We finally see Imu’s true power in action. How will Luffy even be able to defeat the Devil herself?
In the previous One Piece chapter, Imu possesses Gunko, who has a link to Brook’s past life before becoming a pirate.
One Piece Chapter 1150 is titled, “Domi Reversi”
The title is a reference to the Reversi board game, where two players reverse each other’s pieces by putting their colored disk to form a line and capture their opponent’s pieces.
We now fulfill the whole point of the Yamato cover story with Volume 34 of the Oni Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage as Yamato returns Yasuie’s sword to the Enma Shrine in Hakumai.
The chapter sees Imu, possessing Gunko’s body, unleash a massive wave of Conqueror’s Haki all over Elbaph, knocking out the children and most of the Giant civilians.
Dorry, Brogy, and the Giant Pirates attack Imu, who uses a magic book to summon knives and guns.
It seems Imu is from the Black Clover universe, using a Grimoire to cast spells, which in this case involves summoning objects.
Imu then stabs and shoots one of Brogy’s arms.
The reason for this is because as Elbaph is without a king Dorry and Brogy are the kings as the captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates, which is similar to how the Kuja Tribe of Amazon Lily are ruled by the captain of the Kuja Tribes, who acts as Empress.
Imu then uses a technique called “Devil’s Contract” to transform Dorry and Brogy into demons with immense strength and immortality (in exchange for a small portion of their lifespan).
This confirms a long-established theory by us and the community that Imu is the actual devil of One Piece, able to give devil contracts that make people like the Five Elders and God’s Knights immortal.
However, we now know that this comes at the price of their lifespan being used up.
The chapter ends with Imu now transforming the Giant Warrior Pirates into a demon army.
The resulting Demon Giants are about the same size as Oars, which could mean that Devil’s Contract is able to awaken the latent Ancient Giant Lineage Factor inside their bodies.
Although previous chapters have established that the Ancient Giants seem to be a distinct race of Giants, it is possible now that they might be the original form they had, especially as we saw the Ancient Giants in the Harley Mural in Chapter 1138: “The Harley”
Together with Killingham’s MMA (Dream Monsters), Imu orders the army to kill Jarul.
