Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Episode 42 is titled, “Son of Darkness”

Episode 42 adapts Chapter 664: “The Gift”, Chapter 665: “The Princess Dissection”, Chapter 666: ” Dull, Doll, Null” (pages 1-13),  and Chapter 672: “Son of Darkness” (13-17). where the title is from, for a total of 52 pages adapted and 4 chapters chosen.

Again with this pagecount, we get plenty of anime-original content while Urahara’s fight against Askin is quite faithful to the manga besides a few excellent additions.

Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Episode 43 is titled, “Blood of my Bone” based on the title of Chapter 675.

Since every Volume cover except the last one has had their poems used, everything from Episodes 42 to 49 will be anime-original.
