The voice actors comment upon receiving their roles:

Kazui Kurosaki VA – Anzu Tachibana Comment:

“Being cast in my debut work, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, was a major catalyst for me to deeply understand the series. I am deeply honored to participate as Kazui in a work that has continued to be loved for so long. I didn’t discover Bleach particularly early on myself, but it made me realize once again that it is a work with an incredible power to captivate people no matter when or how you encounter it. To those who already love it dearly, and to those who will discover it from here on, let’s continue loving the world of Bleach together…!”

Ichika Abarai VA – Ayaka Ohashi Comment:

“My encounter with Bleach was when a friend introduced it to me in the first year of junior high school. Toshiro Hitsugaya was so cool that I fell completely obsessed in an instant!! I was so obsessed that apparently I even muttered “Bankai!” in my sleep (laughs). Bleach was always a part of my youth. When I received the script, my hands trembled, and I couldn’t sleep the night before the recording due to nervousness. When I stepped into the studio, the voices of Ichigo and his friends that I’d listened to on TV for so long were echoing through the room, and my heart was completely full. If I told my junior-high self, “Someday you’ll voice Rukia and Renji’s daughter,” I’d never believe it (laughs)”
