The summer season heats up with its lineup of anime.

On June 1, 2025, Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 revealed its new key visual, with Isao Shinomiya at the top of the image, with Kafka Hibino in Kaiju form at the center and Kikuru Shinomiya and First Division Captain Gen Narumi on each side.

This signifies the midpoint of the series where Isao would face his climactic battle with the main antagonist of the series, Kaiju No. 9.

As we said before, Season 1 ended on Chapter 38 with the Kaiju No.8 Captured Arc, we might see Season 2 end on Chapter 75 with the conclusion of the Cataclysms Arc or even enter the Second Wave arc.

Season 2 is set to air on July 19, 2025.

Prior to this, the special episode “Hoshina’s Day Off” will premiere in television broadcasts on July 5, 2025.

This episode was part of the Kaiju No. 8 Season 1 compilation movie that is currently out in international theaters.
