Hunter x Hunter’s Manga Return is More Imminent Than Ever
With Chapter 429’s completion, the manga could be returning quicker than fans anticipate.
On October 15, 2026, Togashi revealed that he has completed Chapter 429, leaving only one more chapter of the next batch.
As of August 30th, Chapter 430 had its background specifications finished.
One month ago on September 15th, Togashi finished Chapter 428.
Previously on October 5th, Togashi has confirmed that he will stop receiving commissions to focus on his manuscripts.
Some fans took it to mean that Hunter x Hunter will face further delay but it is actually the opposite and this latest post proves it as we see Togashi finish up his workload.
This could also mean that Chapter 430 will be completed within the month and we can wait around December or so for an announcement of the manga’s return.
The previous batch went on from June 29th to September 7th, meaning there would be less than a year gap between these batch of chapters.
