Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Volume 7 Cover Features Kawaki For the First Time
Coincidentally, Kawaki is also the lead character of Volume 7 of the original Boruto manga.
On January 16, 2026, we got Volume 7 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, featuring Kawaki in teal.
Titled “New Powers”, this volume covers Chapter 25: “Those Girls” to Chapter 28: “New Powers”, where the volume gets its title.
The previous Boruto: Two Blue Vortex volume, released on October 3, 2025, featured Sarada for the second time but after 2 years, we finally have Kawaki on a sequel cover.
Across the original Boruto’s twenty volume covers, Kawaki appears in eight of them since Volume 7, where he is first introduced.
This is perfectly timed to the seventh volume of the sequel where Kawaki is in the cover.
This volume will be released on February 4, 2026.
With only four volumes, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has sold over one million copies as of May 19, 2025, while the original Boruto series sold 10 million copies total.
