God’s Knights Take Over Elbaph and Declare the FINAL WAR! One Piece Chapter 1146 Full Spoilers!
This One Piece chapter confirms that God’s Knights are immortal and that Harald might have been one himself.

In the previous One Piece chapter, we get a flashback of Loki meeting Rocks D. Xebec on Elbaph, showing how similar Loki was to Luffy.
Chapter 1146 is titled, “Within Stillness, There is Movement”
This chapter has 17 pages.
We are now on Ogre Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage, Volume 31 as Ulti swears fealty to Yamato after the latter saved her and her brother Page One from Who’s Who.
This chapter is pure action as we see three fights take place:
Gunko vs the Colon Pirates, that is to say Gunko vs Giant Kids.
Killingham vs the Teachers
Sommers vs Jaguar D. Saul.
We mostly see Gunko using the Aro Aro no Mi to overwhelm the Giant Kids and Straw Hats.
The TRUE REASON Why Void Century Research is Forbidden
Nami points out that Gunko is one of the human intruders but Gunko corrects her by calling herself a “God”.
Although she lacks the Saint title, Gunko is a Celestial Dragon, by virtue of being a God’s Knight.
Gunko then talks about how the world is supposed to end suddenly without anyone knowing but some humans (Clover, Olvia and Vegapunk, for example) learned of this
This is one key reason why researching the Void Century is forbidden.
Along with knowledge of the true crimes of the World Government and the existence of Imu, the latter not yet revealed by Vegapunk, the Void Century is a forbidden topic because it exposes how the World Government intends to destroy the present world or maybe to hide its part in an uncontrollable apocalypse.
Given Imu’s usage of the Ancient Weapon Uranus, perhaps this might have more to do with a paranoid tyrant’s whims than simply nature’s wrath.
Just like the Reiss Family of Attack on Titan, the World Government originally envisioned a “temporary paradise” where the people will ignorantly face the end of the world without everything erupting into chaos.
Now that Vegapunk has outed the existence of the Void Century to the public, the Final War will take place.
Not only will pirates be vying for power and competing with the World Government, the Revolutionary Army will rally the common people to a full-blown movement against the divinely-appointed order of the Celestial Dragons.
The World Government’s policy of silence and conformity were the anesthesia to keep the people from knowing that the world is sinking to the ocean.
Gunko then says that with the final war coming, it is time to ask the Giants, the most powerful army in the One Piece world, where they will stand.
Nami attacks Gunko with a shark made of clouds but then Gunko launches an attack called “Arrow Edge” to redirect Nami’s attack back at her, with the shark now chasing after Nami.
Usopp land an explosive hit on Gunko using his weapon, completely destroying the top of her body but she regenerates her arms and body completely.
From the panels, it looks more like the regeneration and immortality of the Five Elders, which we discussed in our previous Chapter 1146 breakdown.
Gunko launches an arrow towards Usopp, which Nami tries to grab.
In the meantime, we see the Giant Warrior Pirates and Gaban defeat Killingham’s MMA’s and Luffy and Loki are fat now because they ate all the food they got.
Now that is some bonding.
Suddenly, an arrow grabs Colon, which leads to Jinbe and Brook attacking together but Gunko redirects their attacks with her arrows and she follows an arrow that makes her kick Nam.
Usopp attempts to blow Gunko up again but she knees Usopp and knocks him out, taking Colon away.
Harald is a Rebellious God’s Knight?
Killingham defeats Kiba and Ange at “Walrus School” and then he prepares to broadcast something
The chapter ends with a double page where we can see that Saul is gravely injured after fighting against Sommers.
It seems that Sommers and Killingham are stronger than a former Vice Admiral Giant and former Giant Warrior Pirates respectively.
But before he falls unconscious, Saul whispers to Robin and Chopper to hide in his hair so they can save the kids later.
Sommers is surprised to see that a school and library exist in the Kingdom of Warriors and curses Harald for these innovations, saying that the former King “messed up this bad.”
This is really important as while some fans might view pacifism as weakness, Harald’s love for culture and education are things that in fact empower the Giants to resist World Government oppression.
This confirms one idea, that Harald was likely a God’s Knight assigned to convert Elbaph into World Government territory so that they could have Giants in their ranks.
Harald might have known Mother Carmel was an Underworld human trafficker and allowed her to do as she pleased or he was ignorant of her schemes and genuinely wanted the Giants to learn with her help.
Perhaps Mother Carmel was sent to keep an eye on Harald once they got word that he was teaching giants about history.
This makes Harald’s death and legacy even more complicated.
Without outright confirming or denying his part in it, Loki already pointed out that he did not have any desire to kill his father.
This could very well be the result of internal strife among the Giants, since Jarul the Elder was the only other survival but it could also involve the intervention of God’s Knights.
If Sommers and Shamrock were comrades of Harald, they could be responsible for the vacancy within Elbaph that the God’s Knights are now exploiting, especially with the Final War on the horizon.
There will be NO BREAK NEXT WEEK.
One Piece Chapter 1147 will be released on April 27, 2025.
