Is Luffy Still Down? One Piece Chapter 1189 Hints!
Will Luffy get up or stay down? What are your predictions for Chapter 1189?
In the previous One Piece chapter, Imu stabs Luffy with the Bohu sword, similar to Luffy’s first defeat at the hands of Crocodile.
One Piece Chapter 1189 preview is as follows:
“Arrival at Elbaf!! What will be the fate of the Land of Giants——!?”
Is Luffy still down for the count or are we getting Round 2 immediately?
The sparse hints seem to suggest that Luffy will eventually get back on his feet as Imu is unleashing more attacks on him.
We do not have a lot of hints, so let’s go over what we know so far.
Weapon Summoning
It seems that we will see more of Imu’s arsenal of weapons or even an explanation for how he produces weapons.
Through Omen, his glaive is able to change form but he can also bring out other weapons, such as Bohu or the Void Sword.
When he possessed Gunko in Chapter 1150: “Domi Reversi”, Imu summoned a giant gun and multiple regular swords via the spellbook.
Usopp Highlight?
Some are saying that Usopp’s Observation Haki will once again make a reappearance in some capacity but this is still just speculation.
Arc Length
Elbaph is now the 6th longest arc in the series with this chapter, with a total of 64 chapters.
Considering we have 3 concurring battles, it will inevitably surpass Skypiea (66 chapters), Egghead (68 chapters) and Whole Cake Island (78 chapters), making way for this important arc to be the 3rd longest arc in One Piece, standing alongside the giants of Wano (149 chapters) and Dressrosa (102 chapters) respectively.
