Kyouka vs Rudo! Gachiakuta Chapter 170 Spoilers!

In the previous Gachiakuta chapter, while attempting to turn a dying Enjin into an object with his powers, Rudo is arrested by Kyouka Nijiku of the Hell Guard.

Gachiakuta Chapter 170 is titled, “A Bolt from the Blue”

Released on July 1, 2026, this chapter has 15 pages.

The chapter begins in an interrogation cell where Rudo is kept by Kyouka, who reads up his profile.

It turns out that all 170 chapters and 10 arcs of Gachiakuta took place in a span of one month.

Kyouka remarks that Arkha Corvus, head of the Cleaners, covered all bases to make sure Rudo has no dirt that would make the Hell Guard arrest him.

Meanwhile, outside the town, Gountess remarks that Too Lily made their escape her top priority, which makes sense because if she did anything with her powers, the Hell Guard would interpret that as “harm” and arrest her too.

Gountess explains that the Hell Guard use equipment made from a material that prevents Givers from using their powers.

This is akin to seastone from One Piece, which nullifies Devil Fruit powers due to having the same substance as the sea itself.

Perhaps the iron used in the cuffs and weapons is filled with a type of Anima that counters Givers.

Gountess suspected that the reason they did not try to use these weapons against Mymo is because they were unsure if the material would work on someone with his power.

Gountess hopes Rudo will be fine as long as he does not do anything…

But Rudo does something.

He breaks his cuffs off with brute strength and kicks the table towards Kyouka, who easily catches it with one hand.

Kei Urana does an excellent job with the paneling, using the table as a division between panels.

Kyouka throws the table at Rudo, who dodges the table and crouches, preparing to attack but Kyouka was too swift and throws him back.

Rudo attempts to kick her but Kyouka flips Rudo, causing him to fall on his back.

Kyouka tells Rudo that she does not need to restrain the boy and he is free to lash out.

Rudo glares at Kyouka angrily, saying she is responsible for Enjin dying and does not care about the Hell Guard’s might, as long as he will tear them to pieces.

Kyouka tells Rudo that those who lack presence of mind make their actions worse and then they blame others, so she blames Rudo for bringing Enjin to the brink of death.

Kyouka points out that Rudo almost turned a salvageable life into a piece of junk, meaning Rudo would have done more harm than good by turning him into an object.

We see how the Hell Guard view Givers negatively but there is precedent to be concerned about Rudo as his Anima reeks of malice, which Semiu identified as some sort of curse inside Rudo.

When Rudo tried to revive Enjin, he gave off such a negative aura due to his physically and emotionally damaged state and that led him to blur the line between a life and an object.

So she calls out Rudo for judging her and then reveals…

That he should thank her for saving Enjin’s life.

The chapter ends with Enjin smoking in spite of his nurse saying otherwise.

He is getting the best treatment from the Hell Guard, as punishment for bringing Zanka to the Cleaners.
