Chapter 1127 is titled, “Adventure In The Mysterious Kingdom”

Volume 15 of the Oni Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage“ features Yamato meeting up with Inuarashi, who is the Daimyo of Kuri, by the shore and Inuarashi is also troubled by the string of kidnappings.

This confirms that the soba restaurant girls and Minamoto are indeed kidnapped and that there might some malicious force around but why is Minamoto is in this lot or is his situation different?

The chapter has 15 pages

The chapter begins on Elbaf, in a giant village with houses made of Lego-like blocks.

Much like Totto Land with its food theme relating to Hansel and Gretel, the material feels like something out of a fairy tale.

Elbaf backwards is Fable but what is interesting is that the giants all live inside Lego houses, which is normally associated with toys.

Dressrosa already had a toy theme through Sugar’s Hobi Hobi no Mi powers turning the human citizens into toys without memories of their past lives.

Anyway, the giants talk about a fire that started in the forest and head there to put it out so it does not damage the Yggdrasil tree, which is the massive tree looming over them. More on that later.

The giants are shocked that the giant bees have fallen from the sky, as if they were attacked by something above them.

One giant remarks that they heard a rumble just now and it came from the “Ear God” falling to the ground while another confirms that the “Ear God” is actually a species of giant rabbit.

We cut to the “Big Stein Castle”, the LEGO-like castle where Nami is in.

The entire castle is made up of Lego-like blocks, inside and out and we are still of Elbaf as evidenced by Yggdrasil’s presence on the background.

With Zeus’ power, Nami fells a giant bee but Zeus whimpers about being lost as well, asking Nami where they are.

Nami recalls that last time, they were on the Giants’ ship, and begins calling for her crewmates for help, even considering Usopp at this point.

Nami is also surprised that she is wearing the Viking outfit and wonders if she is in a dream.

That last bit might be relevant given that she and the others drank Green Fairy, which in the last chapter we learn is strong enough to induce hallucinations and is a real-life alcoholic drink that has been used as a psychedelic.

Nami then spots something at the end of the Lego hallway and hears Usopp’s voice calling her.

Hearing this, Nami heads for Usopp but trips on a Lego block and falls to the ground.

In front of her is a giant hedgehog, which causes Nami to make a rather funny shocked expression and makes her flee.

As she escapes, Nami spots Usopp being attacked by a giant cat wearing a crown.

Usopp is wearing a Viking outfit and a fake beard.

These giants have very delicate fingers to be able to dress up the Straw Hats effortlessly.

The Cowardly Duo reunite and run from the pair of giant mammals until they reach a courtyard in middle of castle.

Now cornered, the two face off against the giant creatures, so Nami uses Zeus to strike the hedgehog down with a thunder attack and defeat it.

However, the giant hedgehog falls on the giant cat’s head and gets electrocuted by its quilled head, which results in the giant getting quite furious at Nami and Usopp, who get worried and run away again.

Nami asks Usopp about what he remembers and Usopp confirms they ended up in the Lego castle in a similar situation: getting drunk, blacking out and waking up here.

The pair do not notice anything unusual about the substance of the building. They manage to reach a balcony.

Nami remembers the warning the giants gave about absthine giving hallucinations.

This makes the pair think this is still a dream and so Usopp puts up a brave face and charges at the giant cat.

However, the giant cat is actually real and throws them back.

Nami and the giant cat would fall down together from the balcony into the castle backyard.

Here, Nami witnesses the giant cat turn into an even bigger lion and charges for an attack.

Nami cries and grabs Usopp’s body to use as a meat shield but then the Monster Trio come in, unleashing their attacks: Sanji’s Ifrit Jambe and Epaule Strike, Luffy with his Gear 4th: Gomu Gomu no Elephant Whip, and Zoro with his Three Sword Style: Kokujou Oo Tatsu Maki” (Black Rope Dragon Twister)!!!”

We get an EPIC double spread of Luffy, Zoro and Sanji doing a combo attack to defeat the giant lion, resulting in the creature turning back into a cat.

This resembles the one from chapter 162 in the Arabasta Saga where Luffy, Zoro and Sanji defeated a Sandora Lizard (they even use new version of the same attacks).

Luffy, Zoro and Sanji also wear Viking outfits and capes, with Luffy wearing a helmet with long horns (oh boy but this is fiction so let’s give it that), Zoro has a mask over his eyes resembling ski goggles, and Sanji has a sword on his back like Nami (interesting choices).

Zoro is surprised to see the giant lion turn back into a cat while Sanji is worried about Nami in his usual fashion.

Nami laments that Usopp died but instead Usopp goes up to Nami, angry that she used him as a shield.

Never change, you two. Never change.

In an amazing final double page spread to end the chapter, we see Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji, the East Blue crew, reunite in the castle backyard.

Throughout the chapter, we see a humongous tree looming from the distance, which is likely Yggdrasil, the mythical tree of Elbaf based on the Norse tree of life connecting the Nine Realms.

This could mean that even Elbaf itself or at least the land that the Straw Hats are on is just one of nine realms on the roots and branches of the massive tree.

If that is the case, it is possible that the castle does not belong to Prince Loki but to someone else.

Perhaps there are smaller kingdoms or tribes per realm and the Straw Hats need to ascend to the top to reach Elbaf’s Asgard or something along those lines.

We could even see a gigantic creature like Nidhogg gnawing at the tree roots, possibly more of them.

Here, we also learn that Luffy, Zoro and Sanji were the ones that defeated giant bees and the “Ear God” rabbit at the beginning of the chapter…

Luffy ate the rabbit, which was treated as a god earlier but he claimed there are “bigger ones” along the way.

Zoro suggests that they find the Thousand Sunny and figure out what happened to the rest of the Straw Hats.

Sanji vibes with Luffy more, however, suggesting that the bees and hive Luffy just sent flying could be a great source of nutrients.

Nami is utterly flabbergasted at how the Monster Trio are immediately used to this.
