My Hero Academia Final Season Main Trailer Coming Out Soon!

My Hero Academia will finally show off what we are to expect for its final season

On June 13, 2025, it was announced that My Hero Academia Season 8’s main trailer will be revealed on June 16, 2025.

Announced as the Final Season, Season 8 will conclude the Final War Arc that began in Season 7.

Season 7 concluded with its 21st episode (Episode 159 overall) adapting up to Chapter 398: “Toshinori Yagi: Rising/Origin”, which leaves with over 34 chapters of content, including the additional chapters from both Volume 42 and possibly material from the Final Fanbook.

We might also get an episode count revealed soon.

Season 8 is set for release on October 2025.

About My Hero Academia

My Hero Academia is a superhero manga written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi for Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump Magazine from July 7, 2014 to August 5, 2024, reaching 41 volumes as of August 2, 2024, with Volume 42 in the works.

The anime began premiering on April 3, 2016 under Studio Bones (Fullmetal Alchemist [2003 and Brotherhood], Mob Psycho 100).

As of April 2024, My Hero Academia had over 100 million volumes in circulation, including sales of spin-offs such as the Vigilantes series (2016-2022), making it one of the best-selling manga series of all time.

The story is set in a futuristic world where 80% of the world has Quirks or unique superpowers.

Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist, was born without a Quirk until he meets the No. 1 Hero All Might, who hands him his One for All Quirk, and sets his sights on becoming the world’s greatest hero.
