Jump Press 2026 To Make MASSIVE Announcements

Jump Press 2026 might be the most important press event of the decade if it will be the venue for announcing the Kagurabachi anime

Shueisha 2026

Weekly Shonen Jump has been holding a small online press conference called “JUMP PRESS” for the past few years and this year’s teaser poster has officially been released.

During these presscons, there are usually major updates on various Weekly Shonen Jump properties.

On April 10th, Shueisha announced the Jump Press 2026 event.

However, five will be in focus here.

The poster indicates that 5 major series will have new information revealed on the evening of April 27th. Based on the icons, the featured titles are:

Kagurabachi (The Fish)

Jujutsu Kaisen (The Ring)

Sakamoto Days (The Bullet)

The Promised Neverland (The Owl)

Black Clover (The Book)

The announcements seem to be clearly pointing to five major projects in 2026.

Furthermore, on April 21, for WSJ Issue No. 21, we got another preview for the Jump Press event, featuring quotes from various series.

1.  The Ring: Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Volume 3

The final volume is set for release on May 1, 2026.

What would make this a big announcement is likely that it will provide an epilogue for the sequel and for Jujutsu Kaisen as a series.

2. The Book: The End of Black Clover

What is surprising to find is Black Clover, a former Weekly Shonen Jump series, appearing.

With the release of the preview for Jump GIGA’s Spring 2026 issue, it has been confirmed that the announcement in Jump Press will be the bonus appendices, as in added projects after the manga’s conclusion.

3. Goldfish: The Kagurabachi Anime

With the release of various ads on April 21st, it is clear that Jump Press is the venue for the Kagurabachi anime to be announced.

4. Bullets: Sakamoto Days Live-Action Promotion

The bullets reference the cover of Volume 16, featuring Kamihate, a member of Order who uses a rifle.

Last week’s issue features the Sakamoto Days manga promoting the live-action, which airs on April 29 in Japan.

This will likely mean that Jump Press will be focused on the live-action.

But is there the possibility of an update for Season 2 of the anime or confirmation we are nearing the climax?

5. The Bird: The Promised Neverland’s Musical?

Birds are a common motif for anime but this seems to point to the Promised Neverland, which has announced on April 2nd a musical adaptation.
