Jujutsu Kaisen Author Gege Akutami Hopes That Animators Get Repaid For Their Work In New Comment
Fans are happy to see Gege acknowledge the animator’s hardwork
Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 has become a major success for MAPPA studios, garnering critical acclaim worldwide.
However, the season hasn’t been without its controversies. From forcing animators to sign an NDA to an animator’s meltdown on Twitter from the pressure, fans have been vocal about their concern for the animators.
In a recent comment, author Gege Akutami said “I hope the people who have worked so hard to make this experience and animation possible be repaid more & more…is all I say!!”.

Fans are glad to see that Gege is acknowledging the hardship that the animators go through.
Gege has mentioned concern for the animators previously as well.

In October 2020, Mappa adapted the manga into a TV anime that ran for 24 episodes.
The second season will run for two cours consecutively starting July 6 and cover the Hidden Inventory Arc in the first cour.
The first cour has already ended, and the second cour began on August 31 and covers the Shibuya Incident Arc.

One mission is the escorting and erasure of the “Star Plasma Vessel”, Amanai Riko, the girl chosen as the best match to merge with Tengen.
So the two of them set out on their escort mission in order to keep the jujutsu community going, but an assassin calling himself Fushiguro interferes in an attempt to assassinate the Star Plasma Vessel.
