Sean Schemmel, the English Voice Actor of Goku, hinted to fans at the Dragon Ball Z Cast Panel and Fan Q&A at Anime Riverside 2024 that the fan favorite form of Goku’s, Super Saiyan 4, will be included in Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero list of playable characters!

The dude basically stated that he voiced Super Saiyan 4 Goku, along with Super Saiyan 3, Super Saiyan God, and so on, in an ongoing game that is currently being developed.

Sure, he didn’t mention the game he was working on is Sparking! Zero, but from the context, it’s pretty obvious that is the case.

However, this ISN’T a confirmation that Dragon Ball GT storyline WILL be included in Sparking! Zero. But fans speculate that it might be included in a future DLC.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will be the latest edition of the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi Arena Fighter franchise. It’ll be out on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC platforms on October 11, 2024.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi, aka Dragon Ball Z: Sparking!, is a 3D fighting game released in 2005 for PlayStation 2.

In October 2006, the second installment, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, aka Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Neo was launched in Japan.

The game was later released in Europe, North America, and Australia next month.

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, aka Dragon Ball Z: Sparking! Meteor launched in Japan for PlayStation 2 and Wii in October 2007.

In November 2007, the PlayStation version of the game was released in North America and Europe. The Wii version hit the American market in December 2007 and then the European and Australian markets in 2008.

In 2010, the latest installment of the series, Dragon Ball Z: Tenkaichi Tag Team, was released for PlayStation Portable.

About Dragon Ball:

Dragon Ball is a manga series by Akira Toriyama. It first began its serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1984.

The manga was later adapted into a multitude of animated series, movies, and games.

The franchise consists of five different anime series, about 21 animated movies, and around 10 games spanning various platforms, from Famicon to Playstation and Xbox.

Synopsis of the Dragon Ball anime:

The story of Dragon Ball follows the life of Son Goku, a monkey-tailed boy loosely based on the traditional Chinese folk tale Journey to the West, from his life and adventures as a child all the way up to being a grandfather.

During his life, he fights many battles and eventually becomes (arguably) the strongest martial artist in the universe.

He is not without help, however: the comic boasts a large ensemble cast of martial artist heroes and villains which provide the conflict that drives the story.
