On September 2, 2026, according to his own Instagram, Norohito Sumitomo, composer for Dragon Ball Super and Dragon Ball Super: Broly, will be returning to compose music for the Beerus remake.

Having come back after 8 years since Broly, Sumitomo’s return indicates not only the revival of older, familiar tracks but also replacement or even integration of newer ones.

This could signal that the rest of the remade anime will have his new score.

There will be more detailed information about the Beerus remake tomorrow, September 3rd.

Sicne Dragon Ball: DAIMA’s release date was revealed around the same time to be a month later, October 11, 2024, the same can be expected for the Beerus remake, which is predicted to fall on Fall 2026.
