The official Dragon Ball website shows some love for Dragon Ball Xenoverse fans by announcing on May 9, 2023 that Gohan Beast & Orange Piccolo are entering Dragon Ball: Xenoverse 2 as playable characters!

According to the website, 3 new playable characters, i.e., Orange Piccolo, Piccolo (Power Awakening) & Gohan Beast will be added in the highly anticipated Hero of Justice DLC Pack 2, which is set to release tomorrow on May 11, 2023.

The site also gives a short description of Gohan Beast as a playable character in Xenoverse 2 along with a sketch of how he looks like in the game.

A new playable Gohan character is joining Xenoverse 2! This is Gohan’s new, breathtaking transformation that he awakened during the all-out battle with Cell Max in Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO.
Gohan (Beast) possesses high attack power and speed that enables him to overwhelm any foe unfortunate enough to get in his way! He has tons of devastating close-range techniques along with some other attacks that will let him ambush enemies from a distance!
You can find out more about his Ultimate Attack and Super Attacks in V Jump’s super-sized July edition which goes on sale in Japan on Friday, May 19! Don’t miss it!

A brand new trailer for the DLC pack was unveiled by Bandai Namco’s official Youtube channel. The trailer, at the end, teases a never-before-seen storyline based on the movie “Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero” where Gohan Beast & Orange Piccolo appear for the 1st time!

Check it out!

The new storyline includes characters such as Fuu, Android 21 and a spectacular scene where both Gohan and Piccolo use the Makankosappo or the Special Beam Canon together to defeat Cell Max!

In addition, the DLC pack brings new loading screen illustrations from the movie!
