Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Final Trailer Animates Aizen’s Iconic Moment, New Bankais and Power Ups!

On July 5, 2026, we got the final trailer for Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Cour 4.

The trailer was announced 24 hours prior on Bleach’s official social media.

This came with the opening and ending songs, alongside new scenes covering what appears to be the first half of the 13-episode cour and a portion of the final battle against Yhwach from Chapter 682: “The Two Sided World End” and Chapter 683: “The Dark Side of Two World End”

Haschwalth’s Almighty Form

“Despair begins now.”

In place of a Vollstandig, we get a glimpse of Jugram Haschwalth’s new form produced from the power of black of Yhwach’s Almighty.

This is set to appear in the first three episodes of Cour 4 according to fans who have seen the compilation film.

This cut is shown alongside Askin and Gerard’s Vollstandig forms.

A new scene will take place, likely in Episode 4, which shows Haschwalth unleashing Black Torrents against Uryu and will transition to Uryu no longer using his Vollstandig and instead with his new two pronged bow

Aizen’s Banger Line

Every bit of Aizen so far sticks to the manga, with nothing new added.

His line “Welcome to my Soul Society” has been anticipated for 10 years and, outside the Bleach: Brave Souls game we finally get it in animated form.

Gerard Valkyrie’s Vollstandig

We immediately get a preview of Gerard’s Vollstandig, signifying some notable differences from the manga with regards to this form.

Bankai Kenpachi blocks and seems to tear into Gerard red beam (which split half of a Warhwelt city bridge and in the manga Toshiro had to freeze the area from falling).

Then, Zaraki uses two hands here to hit Gerard’s neck but the latter blocks it with Blut Vene, which is an upscale for Gerard rather than downscale for Zaraki as he finally takes this seriously and is using a smart move while Zaraki is showing how even the skill of Kendo he barely uses is integrated into his instincts as a berserker under his Bankai’s influence.

Kenpachi’s MAGMA REIATSU

As Yachiru talks about Kenpachi not knowing about his Bankai, including the fact she is the Bankai manifestation itself, we see Kenpachi activating his Bankai, his skin turning red from the process.

Although this could be from the explosion and heat of his Bankai, it is possible this visualization is confirmation of what was said in the Bleach novel, Spirits are Forever With You.

During his battle with the Fifth Kenpachi (Azashiro), Kenpachi’s spiritual pressure grew so violent that it scorched the spirit particles in his environment, completely dissolving them.

Furthermore, we see another notable change from the manga, Kenpachi in his Bankai form using two hands against Gerard Valkyrie’s Vollstandig form, a testament to his opponent’s incredible strength

Opening Theme

Rather than going for the tradition of “bringing back the first opening” band for the finale, Bleach does the opposite and gets a newer face in the form of jo0ji, who did the recent ending to Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3.

Titled “I-BULL”, the opening is clearly inspired by Opening 1: Asterisk, as well as Velonica and other earlier Bleach openings

After the trailer’s release, jo0ji played the full opening on Instagram.

Ending Theme

Rasen by 9Lana is a song about courage, the final theme Aizen talks about at the end of Bleach.

As it plays, we see Gerard’s first destruction, followed by Rukia and Renji running away from his energy blasts and to a new scene, whether before or after their return to the Gerard fight, where they support Chad and Ganju’s fight agaisnt the living statues.
