Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Cour 3 Will Conclude with a ONE-HOUR SPECIAL
Bleach TYBW’s latest cour will conclude with a special episode before 2024 ends.
On December 16, 2024, it has been confirmed that Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War will end on December 28, 2024 with a 1 hour special made up of Episode 39 and 40.

As far back as early December, Disney + and other websites have listed Bleach TYBW Cour 3 to end within 14 episodes instead of the usual 13.

Some social media users have theorized that this is due to the nature of Episode 26: “Black” and Episode 27: “A”, with the former having only 15 minutes of actual content and the rest being a compilation of omakes while the latter spent 9 minutes on a recap of the previous two episodes.
Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War also released a trailer for Episode 38: “Friend”, showing Jugram Haschwalth and Bazz-B’s childhood designs and confirming their voice actors.
Young Haschwalth is voiced by Marina Inoue (Armin Arlert from Attack on Titan) and young Bazz-B by Chiaki Kobayashi (Gabimaru from Hell’s Paradise, Stark from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End).
Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War Episode 38: “Friend” will be released on December 21, 2024.
