In the previous Blue Lock chapter, Jinpachi Ego lectures Blue Lock about Ego and benches Rin.

Blue Lock Chapter 351 is titled, “Ego Traits”

This chapter has 20 pages:

Editor’s note: “The U-20 World Cup was heating up, and the world’s prodigies were already making their mark.”

Across the tournament, the second matches were concluding with brutal efficiency.

Germany crushed Korea 4-1, with Kaiser looking absolutely furious despite the win.

Meanwhile, Spain dismantled Qatar 5-2, led by the cold, calculating play of Bunny Iglesias.

But for Japan, the reality of Group A was terrifying.

The scoreboard updated: England had just annihilated Nigeria 5-1.

With France already securing their spot at the top with two wins, the standings were set in stone.

England sat in second place, and Japan in third.

Only the top two teams would advance.

There was only one ticket left out of Group A, and to survive, Japan had to defeat the motherland of football: England.

We cut back to the end of last chapter where Ego announced Rin’s removal.

Rin is upset, faces Ego up close, saying that he refuses to bend his ego to become Number One.

Yukimiya tried to step in to calm him down, but Ego points out that initially, Blue Lock revolved around Isagi the talented learner and Rin the genius, clashing and evolving together, like two wheels on a single axle.

But in the match against France, when Isagi stagnated and lost his options, Rin also stagnated too, showing that Rin’s ego is being dictated by Isagi’s ego and proves that his game nature is fragile.

So Rin walks out in anger, desiring to “kill” Isagi.

Later, the heavy atmosphere carried over into the training room. Isagi sat on a yoga mat, stretching his legs, his mind racing.

A few feet away, sitting in perfect meditation, was Rin.

Isagi talks about his frustrations but Rin refuses to engage with Isagi.

Isagi remarks that the biggest cause of their defeat was that Rin was not sticking his tongue out, in reference to Rin’s berserker state—his true, destructive flow.

While Isagi admits losing sight of his ego, in that last shot, the pair could not cause a ‘chemical reaction’.

Isagi came to help Rin recover his ego and learned that there is such a thing as an “ego trait”

For example, even if you have the talent of a No. 2, if your game-nature is built on ‘beating the No. 1 guy’, then your Ego Trait is a ‘Rebel’.

If you want to destroy everything by betting your life, you’re a ‘Destroyer’.

Bachira wants to be a free monster, so he is an ‘Eccentric’.

Everyone lives their ego’s game separately but a ‘chemical reaction’ happens when you link those egos together to create magic that one person cannot do alone.

Isagi leaned in, his aura shifting into something darker and far more confident.

Isagi declares his intention to cause a new chemical reaction with Rin and while he does not know all the answers, he knows that the fact he came to Rin to give him a hint rather than cut ties shows that he is not a Rebel but rather, he is a Demon King.

For Isagi to become the world’s best striker, he needs Rin’s unhinged crazy ego.

Rin stared at him, absorbing the weight of Isagi’s shifting mentality.

Isagi tells Rin to save the Soul So-, I mean, Blue Lock as his last piece.

Editor’s note: “It can only be spoken from ego’s perspective.”

Blue Lock Chapter 352 is titled, “Trash Doll” and will be released on July 1, 2026.
