Brook’s Childhood! One Piece Chapter 1184 Early Spoilers!

In the previous One Piece chapter, we begin Brook’s second flashback from 70 years ago when he was a 20-year old Captain of the Esperia Kingdom’s Battle Convoy.

One Piece Chapter 1184 is about 12-14 pages, a fairly short chapter.

Brook’s Childhood

Brook was born in a junkyard with fewer opportunities and he holds the former King responsible for his poverty-stricken childhood, either due to how the King’s policies affected his region or general mismanagement.

Here he meets the 21-year-old Prince Rueven crossed paths with him, forming a friendship with him while keeping his royal identity a secret.

Later on, Prince Rueven, along with Candelle, rescued Brook from the Marines and took him into the castle.

It seems Brook got into trouble with the local Marines long before he even pursued his dream of being a pirate.

This acts of kindness earned him Brook’s lifelong loyalty and trust.

Is Candelle A Holy Knight?

Queen Candelle meets the Fve Elders, and talks with one of them in particular.

While the identity of this specific Elder is not specified, Saturn is here, which means this is the third flashback where he has traumatized someone, although it is possible Brook is not directly involved in this case unlike with Robin or Jewelry Bonney and Kuma.

Candel leaves Esperia but not alone, perhaps being accompanied by the Five Elders.

We seem to be getting more and more implications that like the Nefertari and Doflamingo Families, Candelle is tied to the Celestial Dragons and considering her combat prowess, she could be an undercover agent for the Holy Knights.

Just like Garling before the God Valley Incident, Candelle might have been sent to Esperia Kingdom to gather information or acquire something of value.
