Ban and Meliodas Humiliate Cath Palug! Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 224 Spoilers!

Ban and Meliodas humiliate Cath, who reveals he is not even on the same level of power as Chaos or its vessel Arthur. It seems like the Seven Deadly Sins have this in the bag.

In the previous Four Knights of the Apocalypse chapter, we learn about the full picture of Guinevere’s vision of Ban’s death at the hands of his son Lancelot

Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 224 is titled, “Twilight for Heroes”

This chapter has 21 pages, including the color spread.

The chapter cover shows the current five of the Seven Deadly Sins and in the background are all their foes: Hendrickson in Gray Demon form, Dreyfus, Guila, the Ten Commandments led by Zeldris, the Four Archangels led by Ludociel, Helbram, Chander and Cusack, and the Demon King and Arthur.

The chapter begins with Cath-Arthur feeling the backlash of Ban destroying the Four Evils, saying that the defeat of his other halves have taken their toll on him.

Looks like Cath and Imu have the same problem.

This leads to Cath lashing out with a Chaos arm at Meliodas and his Lostvayne clones and throwing “Deadly Balls of Poison”, which is thrown back with a Full Counter.

The clones dunk on Cath, making him angrier as he asks how long must these “fossils” continue to get in his way and act like the world’s heroes.

Meliodas says that was not his intention, so Cath asks him to “step aside”, activating “Usurping Paradise”, which summons tendrils to capture Meliodas and his clones.

Cath explains that Meliodas’ Sacred Treasure, Lostvayne, splits Meliodas’ power into multiple clones, so each Meliodas is much weaker than the original, making that his greatest asset and downfall.

Yet Meliodas activates his Demon Mark, riling up the other clones to do the same.

Meliodas comes up to Cath, lifts him up and says that while the Seven Deadly Sins are indeed retired, they are using all their power, more than in their glory days, as an offering for the future of Britannia.

Cath makes his own offering, in the form of a giant flying eyeball, with a woman’s face at the back, noses and mouths on all sides and multiple arms charging a powerful beam called “Halo of Closure”

However, this also gets the Full Counter treatment.

The monster is then split up into smaller monsters via “Propagation of Spite”.

Suddenly, they are all erased with Ban’s “Banishing Kill” as he sneaks up behind Cath and tells Meliodas that the citizens have already been evacuated while King, Diane and Gowther are handling the Four Evils.

Cath unleashes the “glory of the king” as weapons of light sprout from behind him like how he introduced him in Liones 2 years ago.

However, Ban quickly breaks that and steps on his back like how Lancelot did in the same event.

Like son, like father.

Cath laments about not being able to bring out an ounce of Arthur’s force to gain complete control over Chaos.

This not only confirms that Cath-Arthur is barely as strong as Arthur or Chaos but also exposes his true identity to Meliodas, who smirks at the confirmation, being glad to see him.

Or rather, being glad he is not fighting Arthur all along.

Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 225 is titled, “This Wasn’t Supposed to Happen” and will be released on February 11, 2026
