YURA GAINS SHINUCHI’S POWER! KAMUNABI TRAITOR REVEALED! Kagurabachi Chapter 94 Spoilers!!!

In the previous Kagurabachi chapter, we see the names of two other Hishaku members and Hakrui heads for the room where the Shinuchi is contained.

Kagurabachi Chapter 94 is titled, “Arrow Off Target”

This chapter has 19 pages.

The chapter begins with Ichiki bringing up the rules behind the Sazanami Sorcery, Storehouse, wherein the user infuses any item to be brought to the storehouse with Spirit Energy to complete its registration.

Ichiki mentions how the Shinuchi offered for sale in the Rakuzaichi had its seal broken from the start, meaning Kyora Sazanami infused the Shinuchi with his own spiritual energy at an early stage, while its seal was already broken.

This means Hakuri no longer needs to pour Spirit Energy but simply express the intent and the Shinuchi’s power can activate.

This is how Hakuri was able to use its power while the blade remains in Kamunabi headquarters, which is the detonator Ichiki mentioned in the last chapter.

However, Ichiki warns that once the user activates the Shinuchi, the Sword Saint will eat away the user’s will and make them rabid like what happened with Kyora, so this is a one-time power.

Ichiki intends to use this one-time double-edged sword as a last resort but he has confirmed that no one else’s Spirit Energy entered the blade aside from Ichiki and two other Kamunabi leaders: Kasen, the bearded Kamunabi leader, and Yatsuru, the woman, due to them sealing the Shinuchi in their headquarters.

Azami reveals the full nature of the Kamunabi hierarchy.

Those who wear the white haori like Ichiki and Yatsuru, are the advisers of the true head of the organization, the Director of the Kamunabi Kasen.

Izaru and Kudo wear black haori similar to Azami, who is identified as a leader with the rank of Colonel, which makes them subordinate to the three main leaders.

As such, these advisers are stronger than the rest of the organization, with Kasen at the very top.

Kudo once remarked that Azami is on another level but Azami clarifies that he might be better in physical combat.

Yet the advisers of the Kamunabi are on a whole other level of sorcery mastery.

Along with the Sorcery assigned from birth, the advisers have studied twice as much as Azami himself and the Masumi ninja when it comes to barrier and sealing techniques.

Hakuri still needs to study.

Seeing how recklessly the Hishaku have invaded, Ichiki brings up the possibility that one of the three leaders might be a traitor since any one of the advisers could affect the seal.

However, Ichiki states he has known the two for a long while already.

Through subtle confirmation, we meet up with Kasen, one of the three leaders alongside Ichiki.

Kasen is checking the state of the seal, which makes Ichiki think he must have been overthinking about the possibility of a traitor.

Ichiki states that Hakuri is here to transport the Shinuchi to the Storehouse, where no one else can touch it.

However, Kasen disagrees with the move.

We cut back to the four-way fight between Natsuki and Uruha against Yura and Hokuto.

After being flung into a pillar with Natsuki’s Lightning Menace, Hokuto defends himself against the falling rubble with his Armored Puppet Sorcery.

Meanwhile, Uruha chips Yura’s blade right off.

Yura notes that Uruha and Natsuki are overloading on Sorcery with the intent to kill the Hishaku fast.

Yura expresses worry about the outcome in Kyoto.

Yura then says that Hokuto’s fun will end here and sees Uruha and Natsuki prepare to strike him down.

Yura suddenly speed blitzes both Uruha and Natsuki, plunging their heads into the water.

Both men were surprised by Yura’s sudden increase in speed and physicality.

Back to the Shinuchi’s seal: It’s paper is unwrapping, leaking out black energy.

Ichiki looks shocked at this development as he is confused.

How was Spirit Energy planted in the box before the sealing occurred?

This could only mean that someone was able to cover up the Spirit Energy leak and Ichiki sees Kasen staring at the Shinuchi, confirming that he is the Kamunabi traitor all along.

This explains a lot of his decisions:

• He ordered Chihiro and Hakuri to go to Uruha and accompany him to Senkutsuji. There is a chance that Kasen found about Hakuri’s ability after Rakuzaichi and the entire plan from Kokugoku attack and Senkutsuji attack was a plan he and Yura came up with, all to trap Hakuri and kill Uruha while potentially depleting his sorcery.
• He was the one who decided to buy the Shinuchi in the auction without putting up a fight.
• He invited the Hishaku inside by ordering to open the first layer in the HQ.

Yura explained in a monologue that he used Spirit Energy into the Shinuchi right before putting up for sale at the Rakuzaichi. 

What he wanted to test was who would “hold the initiative” over the Shinuchi’s power.

Whether or not he would be taken control of immediately after trying to use it.

From Kyora’s usage of the Shinuchi, Yura learned that without Kyora’s incredible mental fortitude, even something as simple as combat itself would prove suicidal.

Yet behind Kyora’s mad obsession, Yura found something worth testing.

The Sword Saint utters the name of the Shinuchi: Magatsumi.

And Yura unleashes its full power upon Uruha and Natsuki, his eyes turning black like before, similar to the Sword Saint himself.

If Kyora was able to still use his Storehouse while having Magatsumi’s power, it means Yura might reveal his own Sorcery too.

Moments of Yura’s eyes turning black represent him holding back the Sword Saint’s will but now he succumbs to its power as he declares his intent to win their deathmatch.

Kagurabachi Chapter 95 will be released on September 29, 2025.
