Gachiakuta Has Two Panels on Anime Expo 2025

Gachiakuta has two panels a sneak peek into the anime 2 days before release.

On June 9, it was announced that Gachiakuta will be on Anime Expo and will host two panels.

The first panel will be on the first day of Anime Expo 2025 on July 3, 2025 from 4:15-5:05pm which will star the author Kei Urana and the graffiti artist for the manga and anime, Hideyoshi Andou.

There will be a live drawing, a Q&A session, and a talk behind the inspirations behind the anime.

The second panel will be on July 4 from 10:00-11:20am and will star Kei Urana, Hideyoshi Andou, Naoki Amano, a producer from Studio Bones, and other members from the studio to talk about the anime adaptation.

Additionally, it is confirmed that on the second panel, there will be a special viewing of the first two episodes of Gachiakuta, so fans attending #AX2025 can have a sneak peek into the first season before the official release on July 6, 2025, meaning it will be 2 days before the official release.

About Gachiakuta

Gachiakuta is a manga written and illustrated by Kei Urana for Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, beginning in February 16, 2022.

As of writing, the series has produced 15 volumes and a total of 140 chapters.

Gachiakuta is set in a world divided into two layers: a rich upper world and the surface full of garbage. After being accused of his foster father’s murder, Rudo becomes a Cleaner that fights against the monsters made from the upper world’s garbage that falls into the Abyss.
