Tenyku vs Kippei! Sakamoto Days Chapter 258 Spoilers!
Combining Natsuki’s technical genius with Tenkyu’s powerful archery seemingly takes down the invincible Kippei.
In the previous Sakamoto Days chapter, Natsuki and Mafuyu are saved by Tenkyu’s arrival, confirming that one member of X’s Organization has officially joined Sakamoto’s group because of Shin.
Days 258 is titled, “Sonic Boom”
This chapter has 19 pages.

The chapter begins with Tenkyu asking where Shin is, remarking that he asked every JAA member in town and they said that he was heading toward the JCC.
He was minutes behind since Shin is currently no longer headed there but fighting the JAA.
Natsuki asks if Tenkyu is an ally and Tenkyu notes that he and Shin are buddies who tried to kill each other the other day.
He reminds us that Shin took out his powerful left eye and two of his fingers, which happened in Chapter 194: “Tachypsychia”
Natsuki worries that Tenkyu is another enemy and just wants revenge on Shin but Tenkyu clarifies that he only wants to ask him more questions.
Suddenly, Kippei attacks Tenkyu from behind in retaliation for the attack earlier and Tenkyu blocks with his bow.
Tenkyu offers to kill Kippei if Natsuki lets him meet Shin and they have a deal, leading to Tenkyu firing an arrow at Kippei, which he dodges while being able to see it in slow motion.
He also wonders if the previous arrow shot was Tenkyu’s doing and realizes that if he is not too careful, he could be demolished easily as his arrows are far deadlier than bullets from a gun.
Everyone from Natsuki to Shiina is amazed.
While running away, Kippei throws his kanabo club at Tenkyu, who blocks it with his bow and even uses the club as an arrow to launch against Kippei.
This leads to Kippei getting excited to fight Tenkyu, so he tells Shiina not to get in his way.
Thinking Kippei cannot dodge in mid-air, Tenkyu fires an arrow while Kippei is leaping but the latter easily catches his arrow, much to Tenkyu’s surprise.
As Tenkyu realizes he is out of arrows, Kippei uses this opening and quickly charges at him to throw him up a building.
Kippei remarks that if Tenkyu’s shots are at the speed of sound, he can get used to it.
As he falls down, Tenkyu is impressed by Kippei’s overwhelming physical prowess.
He feels like the Toji of Sakamoto Days.
Kippei slams him down, impressed by Tenkyu’s durability, which Tenkyu considers his only redeeming quality.
As Tenkyu lies down, Natsuki comes up with a plan for Tenkyu to fire one more arrow.
While Kippei wonders about their plan, Natsuki comes up and throws liquid nitrogen but Kippei shurgs it off, thinking his foe wasted his last chance.
Suddenly, Kippei notices that Mafuyu is barefoot even though he wore shoes previously.
In a flashback, Natsuki brings up his plan to shoot the shoe with everything he has.
Tenkyu is in disbelief but trusts him as Natsuki intends to be the decoy to give Tenkyu the opening.
Yet Tenkyu feels that trusting others is scary, being reminded of Shin’s deception in Chapter 189: “Great Misfortune”
Kippei turns around and sees Tenkyu, thinking he can dodge it as it is still within the speed of sound.
Yet when Tenkyu fires the shoe, the shoe accelerates to exceed the speed of sound, generating a sonic boom
This results in Kippei being struck down, landing a good blow on the seemingly unstoppable opponent.
Sakamoto Days Chapter 259 will be released on May 18, 2026.
