THE END OF KAIJU NO. 8 IS HERE! Kaiju No. 8 Chapter 127 Review!
The final battle ends and so does the story of Kaiju No. 8 after 5 years of serialization.
In the previous Kaiju No. 8 chapter, after much effort, Kafka Hibino reaches the core and prepares to finish the final battle.
Kaiju No. 8 contains 19 pages.
The chapter begins with Kaiju No. 8 powering up as all the spirits of the vengeful dead scream and rally to Kafka.
Akin to Gon Freecss’ Jajanken, Kafka places all of his power into one fist.
However, the Defense Force worries about the ultra-high speed regeneration of the Daikaiju.
Kafka assures them that he will put everything into this one attack.
The remnants are frozen by Reno Ichikawa’s Numbers Weapon 6 rounds, delaying the regeneration to protect the main core.
Kafka quickly punches the core and he enters his subconscious with his younger self.
The two Kafka’s watch on, saying that this may not be the future he wanted but if he does his best, it would still be pretty damn cool.
The younger Kafka runs as we see his years of struggle form through a montage, from his high school self to college to his time as a kaiju disposal sweeper in Monster Sweep Inc, to his present self in the Defense Force.
This one punch to the core finally destroys Kaiju No. 9, the main villain of the entire series, but all of the Defense Force look upon the remnants of the Meireki Daikaiju, the final boss that started the entire story, screaming.
Is this it, the end of the final battle?
After 5 years of serialization and reaching over 15 million copies sold, Kaiju No. 8 is ending.

Kaiju No. 8 Chapter 128 will be released on June 19, 2025.
This means that the final Kaiju No. 8 chapter will be released on July 3, 2025, in time since the final Kaiju No. 8 Volume, containing Chapters 120 to 129, will be released on August 2025.
