The Death of Zeldris! Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 258 Spoilers!

In the previous Four Knights of the Apocalypse chapter, Zeldris and the Indura of Resentment seal Chaos Lancelot.

Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 258 is titled, “Limit”

This chapter has 20 pages.

The cover features Zeldris sitting on his throne.

The chapter continues where we left off as the demons cheer on for Zeldris’ apparent victory.

They also praise the Indura’s seal on Lancelot.

Schwarz flies up and asks what the other Demons are doing, telling them to obey the order to evacuate to the Abyss.

Since Lancelot is seemingly sealed away, the Demons think there is no need to go to the Abyss for safety but Schwarz says the Demons’ families are worried about them and assures them that he will tell them the Demon King’s deeds.

However, they ask if Schwarz will join them, with Schwarz choosing to stay and remarking that Zeldris’ presence is quite majestic.

Zeldris is surprised that even though the fight is over, he continues to be impressed by Lancelot.

However, cracks form on the seal, with Zeldris revealing that the Indura of Resentment’s seal was able to imprison the Four Archangels, who bore Four Graces or portions of the Supreme Deity’s power (like the Ten Commandments of the previous Demon King), for 100 days.

Yet here, Lancelot breaks it in 3 minutes and he even takes down the Indura in one shot.

Not even the other Seven Deadly Sins could pull that off in the Demon King Arc.

We see Cath Palug emerge, revealing what we already know: to seal Chaos, one must have the combined power of the Demon King and the Supreme Deity.

Zeldris identifies Cath as the one controlling Lancelot and attempts to attack but Cath forms a hand, telling him not to make a move.

While containing Guinevere in a bubble with his shape, Cath assures Lancelot of his girl’s safety and tells him he can go all out.

Zeldris unleashes Merciless Rain to stop Lancelot from moving.

Noting that he will borrow one of Meliodas’ techniques, he unleashes Purple Lightning Slash, landing several slashes on Lancelot.

With tears in his eyes, Schwarz is moved by Zeldris’ display, noting that he will surpass his father by ruling his people with strength and kindness.

Which is why Schwarz expresses that Zeldris’ downfall should not happen.

Zeldris notes that this is Lancelot’s limit, which Lancelot agrees with.

Zeldris also commends Lancelot for helping him stall for time so that the Demons can flee.

As it turns out, Lancelot was taking all that damage and not even deal a decisive blow on him for the purpose

Lancelot once again tells Zeldris to flee.

Cath is impressed with the new Demon King for noticing everything: from Lancelot not being in full control to Lancelot actually trying to stop himself constantly by taking hits at the same time.

So as punishment for staving off his Chaotic urges, Cath gives Lancelot his original power, healing him to full power.

Zeldris is surprised by the overwhelming amount of power before his eyes, being nothing like earlier.

Schwarz tells Zeldris to leave but Zeldris declares that he is the Demon King and will not go down so easily.

Before he makes his next move, Zeldris tells Lancelot to listen to him

For Percival, Meliodas and the others will be able to save him, so Lancelot should not throw away hope.

Hope is Percival’s power, so he is the key to overcoming Chaos.

With a smile, Zeldris tells Lancelot to find himself again without fail.

For a moment, we see Lancelot’s human eyes, moved by Zeldris’ compassion.

However, he can no longer contain chaos.

In one spread, both fighters swing their swords fast…

But…

Zeldris is torn apart, limb from limb.

His final words to Lancelot were hope

To not throw hope.

To find himself again without fail.

Is this really the end for the brother of Meliodas and kind Demon King Zeldris?

If so, he left on quite an emotional note
