ASTA RETURNS! Asta’s Anti-Magic GUNS Revolutionize Magic! Black Clover Chapter 381 to 383 Text Spoilers!

In the previous Black Clover chapters, Asta falls to Lucius’ attack as he has connected with the grimoires of the dead and now Yuno acquires Asta’s Anti-Magic.

This August, we are graced with three new Black Clover chapters to celebrate the manga’s 10th anniversary.

Unexpected Allies Are the Ultimate Magic

Black Clover Chapter 381 is titled, “The Ultimate Magic”

This chapter has 24 pages, including the double-paged chapter cover.

The cover features the Black Clover cast to commemorate the manga’s 10th anniversary.

Editor’s note: “What is Yuno’s true strength, now clad in Asta’s power!?” 

Finral remarks that now Yuno is also clad in Asta’s power. 

Lucius notes that with Asta gone, Yuno is the greatest danger to him with the Anti-Magic clad on his body.

Lucius and Yuno face off against each other, 1v1 but Yuno has a hard time swinging Asta’s Demon-Dweller Sword due to lacking Asta’s physical prowess.

Meanwhile, Lucius says one must be careful when facing Anti-Magic attacks.

Yuno fuses his Star magic with Anti-Magic and performs a new spell called “Black Crescent Moon of the Kamaitachi”

The Kamaitachi is a Japanese youkai, often depicted as a weasel-like being with sharp, sickle-like claws.

Lucius notes that Yuno cannot see through his Permeation Magic (which Lucius got from Gueldre Poizot, who he killed in Chapter 379). 

Lucius plans to strike the part of Yuno not clad in Anti-Magic & finish him off with Soul Magic. As Lucius tries to attack from behind, he suddenly remarks that “the magic power disappea-..” and then Yuno activates “Black Neverland”, which seems to be a fusion of Anti-Magic and his “Never Never Land”. 

Lucius declares that he will wear it away until it is gone but Yuno responds that he will kill him before that happens. 

We jump to Noelle who says she doesn’t have much magic power left. 

Then we jump to Mereoleona, who is at the same place as Noelle and tells her to fight the Paladin Acier, who is no longer Noelle’s real mother.

The next scene is with Mimosa and Asta lying on the ground as Mimosa says she can only heal his wounds with her Ultimate Magic, but she does not have enough magic power left for that. 

She is prepared to sacrifice all her Magic Power, maybe even her life, but that would leave her with no power to help anyone else, so she hesitates as she thinks Asta definitely would not want that or to be the only one saved.

The other Magic Knights tell Mimosa she should forget about them, and should heal Asta instead, because they need Asta to save the entire Clover Kingdom from Judgment Day.

They say they will hold Lucius’ legless angels off. 

Mimosa says she’ll definitely heal Asta, but then Morris shows up with the intention to erase Asta (“the flaw”) for Lucius’ sake.  

Suddenly, the Diamond Kingdom gang shows up (Mars, Fana, Lotus and Ladros), and Mars claims that Asta is not a flaw, but his friend.

After hundreds of chapters since the Witch’s Forest Arc (Chapter 75 to 101) and their crushing defeat at Zenon’s hands in Chapter 227, the Diamond Kingdom is relevant again. The Clover Kingdom’s biggest menaces before the Eye of the Midnight Sun are here as allies!

The Final Spirit!

Black Clover Chapter 382 is titled, “Those Who Were Once Enemies”

The chapter begins with Mars declaring his intention to fulfill his promise to Asta, to come whenever he needed help.

Mimosa shows her distrust towards the Diamond Kingdom’s Shining Generals showing up to the Clover Kingdom in the midst of its biggest crisis but Fanzell, a mutual ally and Mars’ former mentor, confirms that the Diamond Kingdom are on the Clover Kingdom’s side.

The Diamond Kingdom group confronts Morris and they comment on how Morris used to toy with human life through his experiments.

This is exciting as we finally get a payoff to the storyline of how Morris created the new generation of Shining Generals from human experimentation, ruining their childhoods and lives.

A new character appears, who declares that Morris is now a ghost of the past that has outlived his time and is angered by the twisted modifications he has made towards the Shining Generals.

She is Feremena, a Shining General and the host of the Earth Spirit, the final spirit introduced in the story.

The Clover Kingdom has Belle or Slyph the Wind Spirit.

The Diamond Kingdom used to have Salamander the Fire Spirit via Fana (Diamond) but has since come into the possession of Fuegoleon Vermillion.

The Heart Kingdom has Undine the Water Spirit 

Now the Diamond Kingdom turns out to have had two Spirits this whole time but now they only have the Earth Spirit with them.

This has erased any connection with the Dwarfs so far but at least we have one unresolved plot point being addressed before the story officially ends, as well as another, being that Tabata forgot the Diamond Kingdom

Feremona must be the mysterious figure in the center in Chapter 79” “Behind the Mask”, likely acting as their leader and the only one yet to be shown in the story

Morris is a bit disappointed, because he thinks she (or rather modifying her) was one of his greatest feats. 

The Battle begins — Morris vs the Diamond gang

They are holding Morris off while Mimosa is healing Asta. 

We return to Yuno’s fight against Lucius and the people are cheering Yuno on.

Lucius asks what will happen first: the people disappearing or their battle finished.

Suddenly, a voice speaks to everyone and it comes from Millie Maxwell, a researcher from the Magical Tool Research Lab.

Millie Maxwell was first introduced in “Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King” and has worked together with fellow researcher Makusa North and Sally, one of the former Eye of the Midnight Sun members, together with her other comrades Rades and Valtos.

Can this mean that the Sword of the Wizard King movie has been canonized?

Millie remarks that this group has been working at the magical tools research lab for the sake of the kingdom and has felt everyone’s gratitude.

Back then, she did not understand what Asta meant, but now she does. 

Thanks to their research on Asta’s magicless body, they have worked on ammunition that is able to release Anti-Magic that could prevent any use of Magic for 5 seconds, likely per hit.

Yes, wizards with guns!

WIZARDS WITH GUNS!

Just like Fairy Tail.

But yes, Black Clover now has guns that can fire Anti-Magic Bullets.

After stunning the legless angels, with Rades’ Soul Corpse Magic, they can trap the souls of these legless angels.

The Elves also join in to help, led by Patri. Raia says that this time, the elves will protect the humans.

At the end of the chapter, Mimosa expresses amazement at how Asta is able to turn former enemies into allies!

The Return of Asta!

Black Clover Chapter 383 is titled, “Longing”

This chapter focuses on Yuno vs Lucius.

Yuno mocks Lucius for being afraid of Asta, especially now that Asta’s charisma was able to turn former enemies into allies and those enemies becoming stronger after meeting him.

Yuno continues to express amazement at Asta’s ability to make anything happen.

Lucius remains in control, saying that they will run out of Anti-Magic soon anyway.

We cut back to Kirsch protecting his sister Mimosa.

Langris and Leo come to protect Mimosa and Asta while Mimosa is healing him.

Yes Leo has one panel and he has not been seen since Chapter 284 when fighting the demons released during the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc

Lucius says this is all just about buying time, because the legless angels regenerate anyways.

Mimosa is exhausted from restoring Asta and thinks she cannot make it in time.

Suddenly, Finral and Charmy show up with a plate of food and tell

Mimosa to eat.

Finally, Mimosa uses Ultimate Magic and Asta is healed, waking up to challenge Lucius.

This is it!

We are entering the final battles in Black Clover.

Noelle vs a revived Acier, fulfilling her arc of overcoming the trauma of having been persecuted after her mother’s death.

Morris vs the Diamond Kingdom, the Shining Generals paying Morris back for his crimes against them.

Perhaps Nacht and Yami will overcome their despair and grief over seeing Morgen return to fight him.

We might see Damnatio taken care of as well.

And of course, Yuno and Asta vs Lucius Zogratis!

The next set of Black Clover chapters will return for Jump GIGA Autumn Issue 2026, set for release around mid-November 2025.
