A Chilling Warning of the Calamity Choujin X Chapter 54.3 Spoilers

In the previous part (54.2), the team faced off against I.C. Ice in his Chill Paladin form and Momoma manages to make him fall off,

The chapter begins with Monoma facing off against Ice

Momoma: Wait, he dodged?

Momoma stays on the ice

Momoma: (thinking) He has a greater advantage on the ice…!

Momoma struggles to stand.

Momoma: My legs…couldn’t hold at all, either…!

(thinking) my enemy is a “child of Zora”.

Momoma: “Rai-“…

Momoma fails to Raise as Ice places his arms down to release another wave of ice spikes.

Momoma: (thinking) If I think of him on the same level as Chandra Hume…

Momoma dodges the ice attack

Momoma: Until Tokio can “heal”,

Momoma glances at her leg.

Momoma: (thinking) Even if I have to make sacrifices…

Momoma: …This is hard…

We cut to Tokio and Momoma’s injured knee

Momoma: I’ll make my body last.

Momoma lands a punch on Ice 

Momoma: (thinking) 20 more seconds…

As Momoma pushes on, we see Tokio watching the fight

Tokio: (thinking) It doesn’t hurt.

Momoma: (thinking) 10 more seconds and it’s all good. One more hit!!

The time– Just one more hit…

Ice charges up

Ice: No, young lady.

Ice stabs Momoma with an ice spike from below

Ice: You won’t gain even 5 more seconds.

Feathers fall down as Tokio grabs Momoma

Ice: (thinking) I definitely pierced her.

Amidst a plain full of black arms, a sinking ship and ice, someone calls out for help.

Zora appears, flying but her eyes are replaced with two hands

Zora: I have made it in time, Igor Craft.

Ice:…Wh…o…?

Smrt…? The… reaper?

Smrt is Czech for death

Zora comes close and reaches out with her hand

Zora transfers something to Ice.

Zora’s words continue before we return to the present

Tokio stands in human form while Ice is down on the ground.

Tokio: You can stop the bleeding on your own, right?

With ice and stuff.

Ice: You won’t kill me?

Tokio: All of you are the same…

Tokio carries Momoma on his back.

Tokio: I don’t wanna…

Tokio listens.
