That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3

On Saturday, the official Twitter account for That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime revealed a new key visual for the third season of the anime. 

The third season will consist of two consecutive cours. The single “PEACEKEEPER” by STEREO DIVE FOUNDATION, which will be released in Japan on May 29, 2024, will serve as the opening theme. As the ending theme, Rin Kurusu’s “Believer” will be performed.

About That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime:

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is a Japanese fantasy light novel series written by Fuse, and illustrated by Mitz Vah.

It was serialized online from 2013 to 2016 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. It was later acquired by Micro Magazine, which published the first light novel volume in 2014. Twenty-one volumes have been released as of October 2023.

It received a manga adaptation from Kodansha, as well as five manga spin-offs published, and an anime television series adaptation produced by Eight Bit, which ran from October 2018 to March 2019. Season 2 ran from January to September 2021, followed by an anime adaptation of the second spin-off manga from April to June 2021.

Season 3 is set to premiere in April 5, 2024.

Crunchyroll described the overall plot of Slime as follows:

Corporate worker Mikami Satoru is stabbed by a random killer, and is reborn to an alternate world. But he turns out to be reborn a slime! Thrown into this new world with the name Rimuru, he begins his quest to create a world that’s welcoming to all races.
