This led to Netflix offering more anime titles with dubs in over 33 languages, not just English.

Sakamoto Days is the current top placer among Netflix’s roster, consistently in the Top 10 for 10 weeks during Season 1’s run on .

For context, Sakamoto Days had 11 episodes.

In spite of issues with its animation and direction quality, Sakamoto Days remains quite popular internationally.

Anime Expo was where new titles were revealed, including Cyberpunk Edgerunners: 2,  Record of Ragnarok III, and The Fragrant Flower Blooms With Dignity.

Thanks to digital streaming, anime has left its niche territory and become more mainstream with a lower barrier of entry.
