My Hero Academia Final Season to Have an Extra Episode
My Hero Academia is far from over as there will be one more episode at the end of the series.
On November 25, 2025, it has been confirmed that My Hero Academia: Final Season will still have 12 episodes.
Many news outlets have noted that My Hero Academia’s Final Season will only have 11 episodes.
However, as it turns out, there will be a new OVA episode, listed as Episode 12, that will air after Episode 11 and was included in the episode count last October.
This extra episode might likely adapt Chapter 431: “More”, the extra chapter for Volume 42 and the special one-shot from the My Hero Academia: Ultra Age: The Final Fan Book.
The Epilogue Arc will be adapted on November 29, 2025 for the last 3 episodes.
The Final OVA will likely air on December 20, 2025.
