On July 4, 2026, on Anime Expo, we finally got the release date for Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Part 7 – Steel Ball Run, with a key visual showing Johnny and Gyro, with Mountain Tim and Diego Brando and the backdrop of the Devil’s Palm.

Along with a key visual, we got a longer trailer, focusing on the Devil’s Palm suddenly awakening Johnny’s Stand, Gyro’s secretive profile and notable features new characters, such as Mountain Tim, Hot Pants and the main antagonist of this Part, Funny Valentine

We also get six opponents: Stroheim, Mrs. Robinson, the Boom Boom Family, and Oyecomova.

The Pork Hat Pie Kid and Dr. Ferdinand, who are direct agents of Funny Valentine, do not feature yet.

We also hear that it is Mountain Tim who coined the term “Stand” for the Steel Ball Run universe.

This cour will be 11 episodes long and will cover the 2nd and 3rd Stages.

This will be released every week starting on September 25th, ending on December 4th.

Episode Prediction

We predicted the set of episodes to come from this cour and with the next two Stages covered, this will adapt Chapter 12: “First Stage: Disqualified from Victory” to Chapter 32: “Third Stage: Cannon City” for a total of 21 chapters, alongside some extra chapters.

Contrary to our prediction, the pacing will be less tightened, especially as the manga transitioned to a monthly schedule, with 60 pages on average per chapter by Chapter 25, meaning we would see fewer chapters adapted per episode.

This also coincides with the debut of Hot Pants, who is confirmed to participate in this cour.

New Voice Cast

Mountain Tim: Tomoaki Maeno (Squalo from Part 5: Golden Wind)

Funny Valentine: Tomokazu Sugita (Joseph Joestar from Part 2: Battle Tendency)

Hot Pants: Yoko Hikasa (Mio Akiyama from K-ON!, Kyoko Kirigiri in Danganronpa, Yoh in Shaman King 2021)
