Another Baki Glaze? Baki Rahen Chapter 71 Spoilers!
We get an entire chapter examining Baki’s physique. This is the peak we ask for!
In the previous Baki Rahen chapter, Baki gets TSA’d for bringing a small Swiss army knife and attempting to not need it to hijack a plane, but gets bailed by Mitsunari Tokugawa.
Baki Rahen Chapter 71 is titled, “Source”
This chapter has 22 pages.

Yeah, this is just a Baki body flex chapter before his next match.
The chapter cover has Baki flex his Demon Back.
While wrapping his wrist in bandages and gripping it, the narrator exposits Baki’s physique.
Height: 1.67 meters. Weight: 76 kg
We see two pages flexing how his entire body is wrapped in extraordinary muscles, two more pages of his training, with scars upon scars in three pages, even the spaces between the scars have scars.
The next page highlights his eyelashes are on fleek.
The page after shows that he has red lips like a young girl, which in Baki’s context he could be easily mistaken for.
Yet Baki’s neck refutes all androgyny.
Matsuo appears, telling him that his match is about to begin and remarking that Baki’s reign as champion has been quite long.
Baki started the series as champion of the Underground Ground since he was 15 years old, back in 1993, two years before the real-life year when Baki was first written on September 30, 1991 and since Baki’s sense of time is a loose timeline like in Western comics, where more modern figures appear even though the manga takes place in the 1990s, the “long time champion” line is for the audience who has been following Baki for 35 years.
After Baki acknowledges that he has known Matsuo for a long while, Matsuo notes that Baki has picked up some new scars.
Baki notes he has been clumsy and Matsuo notes Baki has yet to lose, with the older man bowing behind him.
Baki says he is up against someone but he forgot his name.
A big strong guy but it is “business as usual”.
Indeed, it s a big, strong old guy, taking a few leaps to the amusement of the crowd.
Baki Rahen will be taking a break, so Chapter 72 will be released on November 11, 2026.
