Asta GETS COOKED At His Own Coronation! Black Clover Epilogue Spoilers!

Black Clover ends with Asta becoming the 29th Wizard King and now we look at his coronation ceremony.

Special One-Shot: The 29th Wizard King’s Coronation Ceremony

The crowd waiting for Asta’s coronation.

Meanwhile, Asta is getting ready for the ceremony, fitting his clothes together with the Black Bulls (Vanessa, Charmy, Gauche and Finral).

Mimosa gives her usual backhanded comment, that “even a stableboy looks good in nice clothes”, then Vanessa tells her it is not quite a compliment in this case.

Noelle also does the same in her arrogant, tsundere posturing, saying that he has become a man she would not be ashamed of being next to.

Lily congratulates Asta

Lily remembers when Asta said “only Yuno has a mega fanclub”, and she thinks Asta has also grown popular too.

Ichika and all the Black Bulls members are around too while Asta’s clothes are being fitted.

Noelle reminds Asta of his responsbility given his title as Wizard King, with Ichika interjecting that it includes  taking esponsibility for peeping on her in the bath.

Noelle and Mimosa grab Asta and demand an explanation

Leo gets his own panel, feeling betrayed that Asta would peep in womens’ baths.

The gag goes on with people berating Asta for peeping on Ichika, then Marx arrives to inform Asta that the ceremony will begin.

As the captains are about to leave for the coronation, Yami asks Charlotte out on a date.

This was probably the first time he did so

Nero asks Vanessa if she’s ok with Yami and Charlotte.

Vanessa says yes, since her feelings for Yami were not romantic after all but simply admiration for her captain like a fan.

Atop a Clover tower, Yuno aura-farms and sends out wind to honor Asta’s coronation.

Asta is crowned the 29th Wizard King by Augustus, the crowd is roaring his name.

Asta speech: “From here on, too, I’ll protect the future of the Clover Kingdom together with my comrades!! Royalty or nobility, commoner or peasant, even if you’re not human. I’m aiming for a free country where we all accept each other and laugh together!!! I won’t give up!!! Not giving up is my magic!!!”

After Asta’s speech, Yami shows up, threatening to kill Asta for peeping on his sister.

As Asta tries to explain himself, the last page shows Luck wanting to join in on the fun, Mereoleona activating her Ultimate Flame Magic: Excelictus Leonum to go after Asta as prey.

This clearly feels like Naruto’s Hokage Ceremony, where he missed it because he got tired from a night with the boys and when he did wake up, it was to stop a rampaging, Byakugan-empowered Himawari from impaling Boruto with Gentle Fist and he took the hit to put him out of commission alongside Kurama.

In this case, it weirdly makes Asta a creep, especially since we do not see exactly what happens and Asta has never really been a pervert or in the position to be accused of such in the normal sense, other than being oblivious to romantic attraction.
