The announcers reveal Japan’s 4-1-4-1 starting formation, featuring Shidou Ryusei spearheading the offense as the sole striker keeping Rin in bench

Flashing back to the tense locker room, Jinpachi Ego delivers a brutal reality check, coldly ordering Isagi to drop his arrogant burden of responsibility.

Ego’s harsh words force Isagi to swallow the bitter despair of their defeat against France and confront his failure to successfully evolve.

Deep in thought, Isagi realizes that simply clashing individual egos isn’t enough; the team was disjointed because they lacked a unified “Big Goal.”

He deduces that by synchronizing everyone’s selfish, chaotic drives toward a single massive objective, Blue Lock can truly become an unstoppable “Super Dark Horse.”

The chapter ends with Isagi moving into the field while his ego get tested, showing that he is determined to not let things end like with France.
