Gawain’s Merlin Form!! Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 243 Spoilers!
Gawain’s new form, the one that will reflect her future, completes her being Merlin and Gawain’s fusion as she uses her flexible muscle as a way to cast spells without interruption.
In the previous Four Knights of the Apocalypse chapter, Percival’s children finally recognize him as their father.
Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 243 is titled, “The Confused Knights”
This chapter has 20 pages.
The cover shows Percy’s little kids clinging on to him seen from the back.
We do not see what he looks like but the tuff of hair on the left, where Lohengrin is, it is likely that Percy grew his hair by the end of the series or at least a year after this point.
He grew his facial hair quite quickly then.
The chapter begins with Tristan smashing Ysaie to the platform.
This leads to a tearful Ysaie finally recognizing his dad, as when he was young, he once begged Tristan to show it to him, and then hugging him, to Tristan’s surprise.
We then see two bangs with energy streams branching from them.
Llywarch insists Gawain die since her mask is about to reach its time limit.
Gawain in her buff form charges through the explosion smoke but from behind, Llywarch attacks her, revealing that her Wing Magic Arms, which give her the speed of wind.
Gawain finds her Magic items to be annoying junk but Llywarch is insulted, saying they are the embodiment of her mother’s love so she can protect herself.
Sympathizing her love for her mother, Gawain apologizes but she refuses to lose and introduces herself as Gawain of the Four Knights of the Apocalypse.
This leads to Gawain kicking Llywarch from behind and seeing as Llywarch is too fast for Gawain’s heavy muscles to catch up, she switches to a more flexible form and punches Llywarch with “Explosive Blow” sending her flying down.
We see that this form resembles Gawain’s mother Merlin, a form that lets her fight faster while chanting mid-strike and is a form made possible by Llywarch’s advice and her mere presence.
Which is quite the bootstrap paradox due to all the time travel involved.
Now Llywarch rises and seeing that she is neither small nor buff, she recognizes her instantly as her mother Gawain and gets close to her, asking her why she did not say so earlier.
She was also curious if Gawain has always been this young, with Gawain clarifying she is still 18.
It seems that Gawain cannot age, just like Merlin and that is due to her homunculus nature.
And yes this is a reminder Llywarch, the tall white-haired beauty, is Gawain’s adopted daughter because Gawain cannot give birth.
Gawain tells Tristan to say something but he is also dealing with an affectionate son.
Percival bursts out of the giant eel and delightfully carries his two future children.
Percival remarks that while this is strange, he can tell the two with him are not liars.
Lohengrin wonders if they went into the past.
Suddenly, they hear a loud thud as Lancelot and Galahad are still fighting.
Ysaie and Tristan try to stop their respective comrades but the two are too focused on their fight to hear anything.
Lance shatters what’s left of Galahad’s mask and his future son rolls back, forcing Galahad to use “Dark Piercing”, where it seems like he is using Zero Sign to sneak past Lancelot.
Then Galahad uses his hand to push his sword thrust at Lance’s chest and a little blood comes out of the future father’s mouth, leading to Lance falling down and making Galahad insist on Lance being a fake.
Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 244 is titled, “The Silent Man!” and will be released on July 8, 2026.
