AMADO KIDNAPS KASHIN KOJI! Boruto’s Secret Wars! Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 35 Spoilers!
Amado is finally moving the plot! What will he do with Kashin Koji? Is Boruto screwed now without his partner in crime?
In the previous Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter, Boruto owns Code but the latter escapes, signaling how Code might become an even bigger threat now.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 35 is titled, “Cute”
This chapter has 40 pages.
The chapter cover features Hidari, Sasuke’s Human God Tree clone.
This looks better than his first one, with the purple background being more akin to Sasuke’s colors.

Editor’s note: “Jura, the seeker of love, and Hidari, the newborn monster. How will the two interpret the death of Mamushi?”
The Loneliness of Jura
The chapter begins with Jura and Hidari, in their own way, reflecting and mourning the death of their comrade Mamushi.
Jura notes that Mamushi lived his life completely devoted to his instinct and desire, to the point of burning out his life.
Jura remarks that as twisted as it is, Mamushi followed another form of love and that Mamushi’s example stirred something within him.
Hidari wonders why Jura chose not to recover Ryu and Matsuri’s Thorn Souls and at the same time why Jura went through the trouble of reviving Hidari after the latter was killed early on in the Two Blue Vortex story in Chapter 12: “Thorn Soul”, which is how the existence of the Thorn Soul was revealed in the story.
Jura makes an interesting remark and a rather sympathetic face, that the thought of a world without Sasuke…I mean Hidari, would make him feel lonely, which is quite interesting.
There is something deeper to Jura’s character than being the Ten-Tails in mobile form.
Jura was lonely for a thousand years as Isshiki Otsutsuki’s house plant in the Kara dimension, having nothing to do except have his chakra drained and being experimented on.
But the way Jura talks about Hidari, who is Sasuke’s clone, somewhat ties to Naruto, who is Jura’s target.
Is Jura sharing some traits with the person he intends to devour?
Jura then wonders if Hidari is creeped out by him again but this time, he does not mind.
Eida was watching all of this play out.
Amado’s Scheme to Control Kawaki
Meanwhile, Sarada walks out of a store, having bought new glasses.
Page 8 is the sneak peek.
Indeed, the person that does appear is Boruto but he is floating and pointing with his thumb, likely guiding Sarada.
Inojin walks among the crowd with Koji’s toad on his jacket, with Koji pointing that he will call anytime when needed with Gamako, even when Inojin is taking a bath or sleeping, so Inojin must be prepared at all times, much to Inojin’s annoyance.
Meanwhile, Amado’s toad approaches Kawaki and we see that Amado’s lab is full of Scientific Ninja Tool Toads.
The chapter title comes from Amado’s remark that the Toads and their ability to change size at all is cute.
Amado then reveals what he called Kawaki for, a screen showing Kawaki’s status.
The current setting is Attack: 85% and Defense: 15%, attack-specialised type.
Kawaki is upset he was not at 100% but Amado tells him that Kawaki had shut down mid-combat and it is because he still had 15% defense that Kawaki is still alive.
But Amado came here to fully comply with Kawaki’s wishes.
Now Kawaki is at 100% Attack power.
This is because of the Toad on Kawaki’s body, allowing Amado to change Kawaki’s settings at will remotely.
Normally, Kawaki’s body is set to 100% Defense, such that even if caught from behind, he will never die at all.
Now Kawaki is on Attack mode.
Amado’s ability to switch attrbiutes inside a human subject follows the principle of Chakra Control in shinobi, so this advanced Scientific Ninja Tool version is a shortcut for that kind of training.
However, in exchange, Amado wants Kawaki to do him a favor.
Kawaki reminds him that he will only plant a Karma on Akebi after the Human God Trees are dead but Amado says he does not intend to revisit the issue but it is about something else.
Sarads Becomes the Bait for Code’s Capture
Faraway from the denizens, Boruto meets with Sarada, who remarks that his flying is quite nice to have.
Boruto is just relieved that Sarada’s vision is okay but then Sarada brings up what appears to be Boruto’s missing right eye.
Sarada felt guilty from when Kawaki slashed Boruto’s eye to protect Sarada and wanted to apologize and while Boruto had it rough, he was never really thinking about his eye.
Now Boruto tries to compliment Sarada’s eyes, saying that they look big now, which makes Sarada smile and say he is an idiot.
Sarada then brings up how Code is targeting her as a way to hand Boruto over to the Human God Trees.
Boruto remarks that while Mamushi attacked the Leaf, Code was using that time to scatter Claw Marks all over the village, which is why Boruto brought Sarada to the outskirts of the village to prevent any information leaks.
It will take time to destory the Claw Marks with Kawaki’s Sukunahikona but even searching for them with the entire police force is a major undertaking.
Now here comes Boruto’s plan: to let him capture Sarada.
But Boruto brings in some pins to help him teleport to where she will be taken, likely the hideout of the Human God Trees.
However, Sarada must throw away the pins no matter where Code and the God Trees take her in order to quickly and accurately read the chakra he embedded in the “pin.”
Cats
Jura finally figures out what Hidari keeps reading about: a textbook picture book about cats.
Again, he finds them cute, hence the chapter title.
This does tie to Sasuke’s past, having played with ninja cats before the Massacre.
This is because the Uchiha store their munitions in Sora-Ku, an abandoned city that is run by ninja cats led by an old woman named Nekobaa.
Amado Captures Kashin Koji
Amado meets up with Inojin to give him a report: battle data from the Mamushi incident, which would be useful for future battles.
Amado specifies that the intel go to Boruto’s collaborator and asks if Inojin met him in person.
Inojin says that even if he was to deliver to the man, he lives in a strange place, so Boruto would have been more convenient.
Amado says it is okay since the man is a ninja, so he would understand the importance of the data once he sees it.
Inojin is surprised to see Amado actually leave the lab and walk about in public, so he wonders what will happen next.
Koji has his Toad reverse-summon the intel, except…
The scroll was Kawaki in disguise and Kawaki’s Toad tells Koji that it is a dead end, which is the shutdown code to deactivate Kashin Koji.
Kawaki is alamred that even Boruto’s collaborator has a shutdown code and considers Amado quite dangerous.
End side Text- Blending truth and deception, Amado skillfully used Kawaki to abduct Kashin Koji!! Just what is his true objective.. !?
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 36 will be released on July 20, 2026.
