Shin AIMS For Order Level Power! Sakamoto Days Chapter 261 Spoilers!
Will the story of Sakamoto Days end with Shin at Order level?
In the previous Sakamoto Days chapter, Shin takes on Tanabata, whose music acts as the perfect counter to his mind-jacking.
Days 261 is titled, “Unexpected Ride”
This chapter has 19 pages.
Editor’s note:Â “In the midst of a battle in the city”
We return to the rest of the Sakamoto faction, with Kamihate and Heisuke respond to the sound Tanabata produced when battling Shin.
While resting on some stairs, Nagumo sees Shishiba come up, the latter confirming his own business is done.
We still do not know who rescued Nagumo in Chapter 248: “Kindred Spirits”.
Nagumo remarks that with Oki dead, the Order has really thinned out, leaving four rebels of the current generation, Yotsumura, Kindaka, who just woke up in the previous arc, and the remaining active member, Tanabata.
Nagumo brings up Tanabata, given Tanabata joined recently as replacements for Hyo and Takamura that Oki brought from overseas, although only Torres is a foreigner, being Hispanic.
Nagumo asks Shishiba how strong Tanabata actually is.
Shishiba recalls what Oki said as a countermeasure against X’s Organization and their powers of magnetism (Kumanomi), electricity (Gozu), flames (Carolina Reaper), hypnosis (Club Jam) and more.
So a wildcard or joker was necessary.
That is Tanabata.
However, Nagumo notes their side also has a wildcard that Oki did not anticipate.
He could be talking about Shin and his growing prowess in Telepathy.
However, Shin is overwhelmed by the force of Tanabata’s soundwave.
Shin tries to drive a speeding car towards Tanabata but his sound slices through it easily.
Tanabata explains that sound is just vibrations in the air and by changing the chord, he can change its shape.
By reproducing the sounds of the world through his guitar playing, Tanabata can recreate physical phenomena itself.
Tanabata moves from behind and launches another sound blast, overwhelming Shin.
Shin wonders how Sakamoto would defeat someone so strong.
However, he is reminded that the things he and Sakamoto can do are different.
Tanabata sees that Shin can read a few seconds into the future but says that the latter cannot escape the range of his sound.
Same thoughts exactly as Shin grabs his guitar, even when his left sleeve shreds.
He grabbed and muffled the strings to lower the sound volume.
Shin punches Tanabata, forcing him to turn his guitar into a rifle but misses.
Noticeably, the last 4 pages look unfinished or unpolished in terms of drawing quality.
Shin ends the chapter off by pushing through Tanabata, declaring his intention to stand with the Order.
Editor’s note:Â “Time for evolution!!”
Sakamoto Days Chapter 262 will be released on June 8, 2026.
