Gawain is shocked to see her…umm adopted uncle stabbing himself.

Suddenly, they see the gushing blood coalescing in the air.

Percival tells Tristan to treat his wound and Percival in turn ties his life spirit to his body.

Merlin assures that even with the amount of Chaos lost from Arthur, he remains its vessel and it is Arthur’s blood that controls Chaos.

The blood turns into a cup, the Holy Grail.

This really confirms that in the fictional world of Seven Deadly Sins, Arthur is the Jesus of this world.

Arthur also pierced his side, which is where the blood of Christ would drip into the Holy Grail, which was said to be the same cup used for the Last Supper.

Merlin tells them to give the blood to Dubs to turn it into weapons.

Arthur explains that his blood will completely nullify Chaos’ absolute defence and will thus permanently kill Cath.

Percival is shocked by Arthur’s willingness to lose his life, with Arthur saying that he reaped what he sowed and thus he has no intention to hold his life dear.

Tristan scolds Arthur, telling him that a king should not be irresponsible and should protect their country and its people.

Arthur remembers Meliodas’ words through Tristan, seeing them as similar but Tristan insists Meliodas is an example of how NOT to be a king.

Percival asks Arthur about Varghese, his grandfather, and wonders if Arthur views him as a traitor.

Arthur says that he is the traitor, not Varghese and praises him as a splendid Holy Knight who chose to protect Percival while being concerned about his king, which makes Percival tear up.

Meanwhile, Merlin expresses her emotions in being with her daughter after 18 years, which is different from seeing through a golem.

Merlin asks if Gawain can show her true face to her mother more often, with Gawain agreeing, saying that her Papa Escanor will sulk over this.

The mother and daughter hug each other.

Arthur thanks Percival for saving him and he finds the will to live once again.

However, Lancelot refuses to forgive Arthur, which the latter is fine with.

Lancelot walks away, remembering his meetup with Guinevere in Chapter 219: “What I Want Known” , showing that Lancelot has strong feelings for her.

Uhh, so Guinevere will never marry the real Arthur, huh?

What happens to the Round Table?

We cut to Liones, still repairing and recoverng from Cath’s attack.

Guinevere’s parents talk to Gilthunder to thank Elizabeth and Meliodas, the king and queen of Liones, for protecting the people of Britannia that came from Camelot, particularly their people from Cameliard.

However, Gilthunder tells the royals that Meliodas still needs to rest.

Meanwhile, a group of refugees wonder how long it would take them to return to Cameliard, with one man saying it would take about 10 days.

A pair of sisters talk about a cat they find and worry their dad will be upset or try to eat the cat since he hates cats.

But in their carriage, they see their father’s shoes, making them worry.

To their horror, they find Cath Palug, in its original small cat form, eating the body of the sisters’ father.

Cath’s defeat has reduced his form and power, resulting in his hunger and that he will slowly feed on the flesh of others to regain his strength to once again go after Arthur.

Four Knights of the Apocalypse Chapter 240 is titled, “The Pilgrim” and will be released on June 3, 2026.
