The story of the My Hero Academia is far from over as we get a fuller glimpse into the adult lives of Deku and his classmates. Unfortunately, we might not see the Eri one-shot unless another special episode is in the works.

On April 25, 2026, we got a trailer for the upcoming special episode for the My Hero Academia anime, showing the adult lives of the main cast from Class 1-A 8 years after the Final War.

This will adapt the epilogue chapter, titled, “More” in the final Volume 42 of the series that was released on December 5, 2024.

While Class 1-A’s adult appearances have clearly shown their maturity well, fans have remarked on how Shoto’s adult face, which looks more elongated, is a downgrade from his teen self.

Unfortunately, the Eri one-shot from the My Hero Academia guidebook will not be included in this episode because the guidebook was released on May 2, 2025, meaning it was a 5-year gap between the final episode of the anime, which aired on December 4, 2024.

Episode 171 is titled, “More” will be released on May 2, 2026.
