Will Jump Press Finally Reveal the Kagurabachi Anime?
At long last! Kagurabachi will finally unveil the first official confirmation of the anime, potentially even the first teaser trailer for it.
On April 20, 2026, Kagurabachi is displaying Teaser Ads accross Japan set to be revealed on April 27, 2026 at 8:30 PM Japan Standard Time.
This announcement also coincides with the posting of the latest Kagurabachi volume cover.
This was hinted at a week earlier on April 12 by Sugoi Lite.
The Kagurabachi anime has been in production since December 2, 2024, meaning a year and a half has passed since the initial announcement.
These posters show black goldfish, the motif for the series.
The preview line is as follows:
“From Japan, a new era is about to be carved open.”
Furthermore, there is a QR code on the ads:
‘e78ca9e6b685e98ca6’ should be an hex-encoded UTF-8 string is actually broken and decoded as: 猩涅錦
猩 is the character for ‘Aka’, 液 is the character for ‘Kuro’, and 錦 is the character for ‘Nishiki’, the three Goldfish of Enten, the protagonist Chihiro Rokuhira’s Enchanted Blade.
This leads to a website showing a countdown to the announcement coming in 7 days.
This could be not only the announcement for the anime but even a trailer teasing fans

The following subdomains for kagurabachi.jp have been recently registered:
Previously, the kagurabachi.jp anime website was registered prematurely on September 9, 2025 but this has since been deleted.
Now this same link has resurfaced, with news articles dating back to October 2025, including the Kagurabachi x Burger King collaboration on October 3, with articles from October and December of 2025 and more recently, late January to the present.
This indicates that the website has always been in use but its release to the public would have given away the hint that the anime was coming.
Will It Be Announced During or Alongside Jump Press?
Shueisha has also announced the Jump Press event, which will make announcements for five series: Kagurabachi, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, Sakamoto Days, Black Clover, and The Promised Neverland,.
Jump Press is set for the evening, just like the countdown for the Kagurabachi anime announcement suggests.
Considering the significance of the anime adaptation to the series and to Shueisha, this might be announced during the event, to gather attention from the press and fan communities.
The anime will be produced by CyberAgent × Shochiku, with CYPIC (Cygames Pictures) as the animation studio.
Cygames is famous for its adaptation of “The Summer That Hikaru Died”, a contender for Crunchyroll’s 2026 Anime of the Year AwardÂ
