Kagurabachi Anime Set For 2027
As early as April 12th, there have already been moves to announce the official release of the Kagurabachi anime adaptation.
On April 12, 2026, prior to the April 20 teaser ad release, Sugoi Lite has revealed that the Kagurabachi anime will be announced during or around Jump Press 2026, which will be on April 27.
This is the first major update of the anime since the announcement of its existence on December 2, 2024, which was over nearly a year and a half ago.
Sugoi Lite has also stated that the anime is slated for a 2027 release, which has yet to be seen.
The anime will be produced by CyberAgent × Shochiku, with CYPIC (Cygames Pictures) as the animation studio.
Cygames is famous for its adaptation of “The Summer That Hikaru Died”, a contender for Crunchyroll’s 2026 Anime of the Year AwardÂ

Kagurabachi is a manga series written and illustrated by Hokazono Takeru for Weekly Shonen Jump since September 2023, reaching 11 volumes and 119 chapters as of writing.
Kagurabachi is the story of a young man named Chihiro Rokuhira, who seeks the missing Enchanted Blades forged by his father and revenge for his death at the hands of a gang of malicious sorcerers called the Hishaku.
