RAGNIR IS THE SQUIRREL, NOT LOKI! One Piece Chapter 1170 Early Spoilers!
Christmas graces us with early One Piece spoilers, revealing the truth of Ragnir’s power as the Squirrel Guardian and adds more mystery to what the Legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaph could really be.
In the previous One Piece chapter, Harald calls for Loki to take the Legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaph in order to stop him but Harald turns evil and takes on Shanks and Gaban while Loki faces off against the living weapon, Ragnir.
One Piece Chapter 1170 is titled, “Opposite”
While fighting Shanks and Gaban, Harald remarks no one has ever eaten the legendary Devil Fruit, since Ragnir has been protecting it all along.
We learn something interesting: that the Roger Pirates have faced off against the Holy Knights multiple times because they tried to kidnap Shanks and that is how every member learned how to use Conqueror’s Haki to damage and slow down the immortals’ regeneration.
We have more proof the Holy Knights are massive frauds as the Roger Pirates were so constantly exposed to them that they knew
Meanwhile, Loki continues fighting against the living hammer, Ragnir and both are exhausted.
No one has actually ever eaten the Devil Fruit in generations, which explains why it is kept as the National Treasure of Elbaph.
While Loki’s hammer breaks from Ragnir’s physical power, Ragnir transforms into its Devil Fruit form, a Squirrel?
The previous pre-week spoilers have caught the community on fire as people were wondering, from the confusing wording, if it was Loki or Ragnir who had the Ratatoskr Squirrel Mythical Zoan.
The Risu Risu no Mi, Model: Ratatoskr?
But now we have confirmation, once and for all, that the Squirrel is actually Ragnir and that explains Ragnir’s role as the Guardian of Yggdrasil.
Ratatoskr is the mischievous giant squirrel that gnaws at the Tree of Life Yggdrasil and sends messages between the eagles of the top and Nidhogg.
It feels like Ragnir’s role is to be a mediator between the Heavenly World and the Underworld.
And this leads into a theory we in ABD much earlier, that Loki’s Devil Fruit is actually a Serpent, possibly even the Serpent of Hellflame we saw in the Harley Mural in Chapter 1138.
And here, the Squirrel Ragnir accepts Loki as the one to eat the Legendary Devil Fruit, Elbaph’s National Treasure.
Loki eats the Devil Fruit and his hands turn into claws, but only his silhouette is shown.
This leads into Loki facing off against Harald and finishing the fight but we do not see what he looks like.
In the end, we see Loki return to his Giant form and, with Ragnir in hand, lands the final blow on Harald, coated with Conqueror’s Haki and lightning.
Shattering Harald to pieces like glass.
It looks like we are in the climax of the flashback but next chapter, we could cover details like how Loki became the scapegoat for Harald’s death and how Shanks became Yonko.
Oda is reserving the reveal of Loki’s Devil Fruit for a much later time, likely when he works with Luffy against Imu.
Imu facing off against two different gods, the laughing Sun God Nika and the Underworld Serpent.
It is like history is being fulfilled.
There will NO BREAK the week after the chapter’s release.
One Piece Chapter 1171 will be released on January 12, 2025.
