In the previous Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest chapter, Fairy Tail Team B (Mirajane, Juvia, Elfman and Gajeel) arrive to save the original Oracion Seis from their demon pretenders.

Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Chapter 188 is titled, “Mermaid Fun”

The confontation with the Six Books of Faris and Fairy Tail Team B begins!

As Meredy warns Juvia to be careful, Juvia still thinks about going back to her darling Gray.

Gate prepares to open a gate to the Underworld.

Since Juvia was still in love mode, hearing the word gate linked to key and thus Lucy and therefore a “love rival”.

Gate uses Gate of the Fifth Element to redirect Juvia’s water and turning it into Wood.

Juvia wonders how she can be powered up with her own element and wishes Lucy were here since she would use that for Aquarius’ power.

Gate’s final Gate is the Realm of the Dead that turns anyone it touches into corpses.

Then Juvia throws the Water into Gate’s main portal on his body.

However, the exit is blocked as the Five Elements are connected to each other, meaning they all lead into Gate’s body, causing him to explode.

Juvia reveals that it was just Transformation Magic, thinking it would make her stronger.

Aldoron vs Selene

Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Chapter 189 is titled, “Dragon’s Banquet”

Released on July 9, 2025, this chapter has 20 pages.

Gate turns back into a book while Juvia checks up on her darling Gray, who, along with the others, watches Faris break out of Bestia’s dimension, holding her with her giant Acnologia cybernetic arm.

Happy reminds Natsu that Bestia’s flames are grub, which excites the Dragon Slayer.

Bestia embraces Faris again and teleports, leaving Natsu open for his nephew Wed to slash through his body..

However, Wed’s sword melts easily and Natsu unleashes a flame burst that melts everyone’s clothes, including his own friends.

Then Natsu unleashes a Fire Dragon Roar to remind the neophyte Dragon halflings that this is the power of a real Dragon.

Meanwhile, Selene enters Aldoron’s mouth and looks for his true form and he does find Aldoron the God Seed, who asks if Selene is responsible for the racket around his body and ties her up with his roots.

However, Selene simply teleports with Aqua Aera and appears behind Aldoron, finding him rude for saying that after not meeting for 400 years.

Selene declares that this is the final evening of the Dragon King Festival.

Meanwhile, Gajeel confronts Zero, who identifies Gajeel as the right-hand of Jose Portias of Lord Phantom but Gajeel says that Jose was cramping up his style, which makes Zero compare him to his “ungrateful kids”, the Oracion Seis

Gajeel counters Zero’s Dark Magic, saying that Makarov is the only person he calls Dad.

Real Dragons

Fairy Tail 100 Years Quest Chapter 190 is titled, “For Those We Hold Dear”

Released on July 23, 2025, this chapter has 20 pages.

We see Dragonized Misfortune, which changes nothing.

Zero notes that Gajeel had the potential to join the Oracion Seis, which leads to Gajeel mocking Richard (Hoteye) and Sorano (Angel)

Gajeel remarks he is not a fan of Natsu but there is someone in Fairy Tail he loves more than dislike Natsu, Levy.

Zero blasts Gajeel away as the latter wonders how Natsu beat him in the first place.

Meanwhile, Natsu takes on all of Fire and Flame by himself, first using Fire Dragon’s Roar to burn the Signario Sisters, who then use Flame Lock to seal Natsu in a fire sphere

Erza comes in with her Sea King’s Armor to repel the Sisters, then joins Gray in countering Raj, and Lecka’s sneak attack on Natsu with Sea God’ Blade Wave on Raj and Long Sword of Ice Demon Zero on Lecka respectively.

Wed attacks Uncle Natsu for calling the guild fake dragons.

Natsu asks what their goal is and points out that their goal to wipe out humans completely makes them fake Dragons because for him, true Dragons are kind and do not hurt people.

In turn, Natsu declares that Fairy Tail does not fight for world peace or humanity but for those they hold dear as he punches Wed.

Released on August 4, 2025, this chapter has 20 pages.

We see the Fairy Tail girls: Lucy, Erza, Mirajane and Juvia by the pool relaxing and hanging out.

Wed’s hot temper gets the better of him, which Lecka and Raj point out as they cover him after Natsu’s punch

Tired of all this talk, Erza demands the guild to release the people but then Raj spits out a fire that aims to burn it all down, making Fairy Tail mad at how the dragonized care nothing for the lives of others.

Lucy activates her Star Dress: Aquarius Form to take on the Signario Sisters together with Erza.

Grey takes on Lecka, as their Fire and Ice-Make Hammers clash.

Wendy boosts everyone’s attack power with Il Arms but suddenly, she turns into a jellyfish thanks to Raj’s Fire Illusion.

When reminded by Carla, Wendy activates her Dragon Force and uses her Ultimate Technique: Shattering Light: Sky Drill.

Erza and Lucy takes down the Signario Sisters with Sea King’s Marine Moment and Aqua Metria respectively.

Grey fires his Ice Devil’s Zeroth Destruction Bow on Lecka.

Natsu stands up, saying that they are not real dragons and their flames cannot hurt them, so Natsu hurls a Crimson Lotus: Exploding Lightning Blade at Wed, giving everyone else to defeat the whole guild.

Natsu then says that they are 100 years too early to stop them from their 100 Years Quest
