Hokuto vs Natsuki! Natsuki’s Bitter Rivalry With Uruha Sparks Anew! Kagurabachi Chapter 91 Spoilers!

In the previous Kagurabachi chapter, Kiri shows off her swordsmanship and Hokuto finally arrives to see some action.

Kagurabachi Chapter 91 is titled, “Natsuki”

Editor’s Comment: “The technique backfired—and the enemy is already here?!”

The chapter begins where we left off when Hokuto asks Hakuri where Uruha is.

Hokuto chastises Hakuri for how his technique is full of shortcomings but before he could unsheathe his sword, Kiri uses her foot to stop him, only for Hokuto to stop her sword with his left arm and use it to grab her by the neck.

To save her, Hakuri uses Isou for a third time today but he is knocked back by a force.

Hakuri remarks that this is Hokuto’s Sorcery at work, which reflects Isou back at him.

Hokuto asks Hakuri where Uruha is hiding but with Hakuri’s refusal to answer, he prepares to end him with his sword.

Suddenly, a tile drops down from the ceiling, cut open by a blade, and Natsuki emerges to clash with Hokuto.

Geez, swordsmen in the Kamunabi really like to use tiles as an entrance.

Kiri thanks Natsuki for saving her but the latter reminds her not to call him by his first name since he is older than her.

The other Kamunabi show up, forgetting his seniority and reminding him not to wreck everything around him without thinking but Natsuki tells them to leave this to him.

Natsuki introduces himself and the fate of his brother Ibuki.

Hokuto looks tense as Natsuki sees the emblem on Hokuto’s hand.

Hokuto reveals himself as Ibuki’s killer and that if Natsuki defeats him, the world can know who killed Ibuki.

However, Hokuto says that if he wins, Natsuki will reveal where Uruha is.

Natsuki asks why Hokuto is after Uruha, to which Hokuto says that his sword is not for killing but made to endure until he can muster the joy of fighting to the death.

However, this makes Natsuki mad because with his obsession with titles and honors, Hokuto is ignoring him, only going after Uruha instead, and by not acknowledging Natsuki as a master swordsman too, Hokuto deserves death.

Natsuki strikes first and Hokuto blocks his sword with his left arm but Hokuto’s armguard is being cut through, which Hokuto found impossible.

Hokuto is impressed by how almost flawless his strikes were, sharp and precise enough to cut through metal.

We get some incredible action of the two swordsmen clashing, leading to Natsuki cutting down the wall behind Hokuto and then from behind the man, Natsuki fires his Sorcery, “Thundercloud”, causing so much damage around the hall, much to the chagrin of his comrades.

However, Hokuto is protected by the plates on his armor levitating and covering his body like a dome.

Natsuki expresses frustration with everyone passing him over for Uruha, even though Uruha knows that Natsuki is the better swordsman.

He is angry that his older brother, Samura and Kunishige passed him over for Uruha and that everyone treats him like a young delinquent than the senior that he is.

He then thinks about Uruha being dead, since he was publicly stated to be killed by Samura, only for Uruha to drop in front of him with Yura.

While Hokuto is excited to see his prey, Natsuki is upset that the rumors of his death have been exaggerated.

The chapter ends comically as the Kamunabi tell Uruha to stop breaking the ceilings, which was what Kiri and Natsuki have been doing since their introductions.
